Mara's body has been created by a weaver of life in order to correct a mistake he has made (which imply killing people who parasite other's lives to live longer and become stronger). She was taking her mission very seriously, especially after discovering an illustrated bible for child, seeing herself as an exterminator angel sent to purificate Earth. Now all this story has ended, she has softened, but sometime she's still haunted by all of that through nightmares. A few days ago, Mara has been sent by the strange dude with a fern on the top of his head, who hosts her nowadays, to assist some furry little wanabe mage as a bodyguard during his travel across a fancy long legs city...
Another psychopath in the crew ! She can be enough civilised when it's needed, and won't kill a random passer-by in the street for no reason, but she crossed her moral point of non-return long ago. Mara has great temperance, but one of the things that makes her feel the most alive is inconsidered destruction. Especially if what she plan to destroy is able to resist or run. People, animals, robots... If she finds a purpose (or more likely a pretext) to fight something to death, it won't be a day lost ! Also, she rather non-innocent and willing to fight victims, where is the fun in slaughtering an harmless child ? Despite her lack of empathy she can tie to someone, if she recieve help, good gift or sympathy from him, and won't like to see him die. It probably won't be like love or true friendship, though. In short, Mara would have been a very fine person, if she had not had such a ticklish psycho-berserk button. Oh, and she's a failure to remember peoples names. 8D
Fighting style :
Mara is everything but a martial artist, she don't use predefined skills and paterns. doesn't mean she is impredictable : she mostly use wide and non-subtle moves. She fights quite instinctively thanks to her experience, relying on her sturdiness and her capacity to maze her environment with her butterflies. She has average agility but can jump a few meters thanks to her strength, sometime destabilised by her own momentum. Uncomfortable against spellcasters, can't sense spiritual energy and predict their doings. She don't like to use weapons, thinking her body is dangerous enough, and not a big fan of tactical and strategy. Mara don't have any defensive skill, if she can't dodge something she must endure it, and hoping she'll be able to drain energy from somethin living later to heal herself.
Not the scholar type, she can't use any magic, just her two innates capacities. She creates her explosives butterflies with her own cells and complete it with atoms in the surrounding air. She can't do a lot of things whith them except making them fly or explode. Since she is focused when she controlling them, her accuity is slightly reduced by making them moving or detonating. The creation process is very fast, but they do not fly very quickly (can be distanced by a good sprinter). Their explosion blast equals a grenada, it can't be increased or decreased. Creating butterflies don't requires a huge amount of energy : If she has eaten enough she can make a good dozen of them before getting tired. If a butterflie is destroyed without Mara's explosion advice, it will still explode but the blast won't be as powerful.
Energy transfert works simply, Mara can move vital energy from two bodies, including herself. She can drain someone or healing him whith her own energy. (fun fact : she usually heals herself by hugging trees) Sending her energy in an inert item will fragilize it and eventually reduce it to crumbles. Anyway it takes time, around 5 minutes to starting its effect and 15 more for a medium wound. Saredans have awesome regeneration potential, she can eventually grow back an eye or an arm if she manage to find something big enough to drain it during a few houres. Drain can partly replace feeding, but it don't provide vitamins.
Gourd contains water, what did you expect ?
Clothes are juste spare clothes.
Cooper marbles don't have predefined utility, she keeps them as a souvenir from some long ago gone fellow. Cooper is a good magic conductor, so basically those things are used to throw spells farther but she can't use them. Sometime she juste play with them between her fingers to destress herself.
The bottle of dark liquid contains some strange space distorder solution. Once aplied on a surface it create a portal which can move something from the puddle to another location that the user has already visited. Can't bring back out of the city because of reasons. This bottle contains enough liquid to teleport 200 lbs of mater, so she wont use it twice on herself. The liquid evaporates after teleporting something. Can also be used to teleport small objects, sounds or energy.
It's her last bottle ever, so she'd rather not using it, but who knows ?
Plutôt sportive mais avec une musculature fine (ça me paraît correspondre au dessin) je dirai que tu peux taper dans les 70 kilos, voire monter un peu plus si elle est baraquée.
(pour te donner une idée moi je fais 1.60 / 55 kilos, sans être ni sportive, ni en surpoids, ni mince)
Du coup je lui ai rajouté 10 bons kilos et ça tourne bien autour de 70. Donc youpi.
