I was totally honoured to be asked to be a part of the incredible Team Ico put together by *aomarine! Technically we've known each other a while, and even accidentally cosplayed together in 2008. She invited me to cosplay the Queen since I'm totally typecast apparently not very many people even know about this beautiful video game.

The dress was pretty simple, though I would really have liked it to fit better (I lost a bit of weight since I first started sewing it, then it was a mad rush to finish). The wig was enhanced greatly by *elias-lopez's magic Photoshop skillz. I also had terrible trouble with my contact lenses on the day, which pretty much meant I was driving without any sort of vision at all, AND ruining my makeup because my eyes were tearing up so much. If anything, this picture really shows that everything can be fixed in post!
