The Violation: Ch 11 (Zornek Station)
5th Day of the 10th Month
Zornek System
"There she is," Tav whispered, his voice a mix of awe and Captainly caution.
On the main viewscreen, Zornek Station loomed out of the darkness of the Benecia Sector.
It was a massive, rotating spire of titanium and light, sprawling with docking pylon arms
that looked like the legs of a Great Sea-Spider. It was easily twice the size of the Qori Outpost
they had visited a month prior.
As the Havora glided closer, the comms chatter became a whirlwind of languages—
mostly Human—that Mareesa struggled to follow. This was the crossroads Zarnem
had promised: a bustling Federation hub where the trade of a dozen sectors met
in a single point.
"Havora, this is Zornek Control," a crisp, Human voice crackled over the speakers.
"You are cleared for Docking Ring 4, Pylon Gamma. Welcome to the Benecia Sector."
"Thank you, Zornek Control," T’Ring responded, her fingers flying across the operations

Kirk’s Flat
8:03 PM
Inside the flat, the silence was a tangible thing. It was a silence Kirk had grown accustomed
to, a protective wall he had built around himself to keep the world, and specifically the Enterprise crew, out. To keep them from hurting him again.
He sat on the couch, a book lying open but unread on his lap. He had lost himself in pre-Nero history, a different time, a different war. the man. "Apologies for the interruption. Just wanted to report on a visitor we

Enterprise Ready Room
Spock entered the Ready Room, the door sliding shut behind him. He walked to the main
viewer and with a press of a button, the image of his counterpart, appeared.
The figure was a mirror of himself, only older, with the wisdom of a long and storied life
etched into his face. He was Spock Prime.
Spock Prime's expression was composed, but his eyes, the same shade as Spock's own,
were filled with a deep, unsettling disappointment. Spock's human side felt a cold squeeze
of dread, a feeling he instinctively suppressed, but the physical sensation remained.
This was a conversation not just with an elder, but with his own future. A future that now
saw him as a failure.
Spock Prime's voice was calm, but a quiet storm. "I have heard of the incident, Spock."
Spock's expression did not change. "If the removal of Captain Kirk from command is the subject,
the event has been logged with Starfleet Command."
Spock Prime’s gaze cut through
