Full Circle

First of all, I want to say hello to all of my fans and followers, and this hello has been a long time in coming. My profile says I've been a Deviant for 15 years, which is amazing and rather surreal to me. As you can imagine, much has changed for me personally, professionally, out in the world, and within myself.

Art is a deeply personal journey, and I've said many times that it's the most challenging thing I've ever done (and I've done lots of different things). I've never given up on it, although I've gone months without drawing or painting, and yet when I come back to it I always improve in some way, because art is as much about inspiration as it is about skill.

This is my first ever DeviantArt journal entry, and it only took 15 years to write. I call it 'Full Circle' because I'm going back to art school after many years of being a journeyman. It's fitting that I return to the place where it all started.
