Cover Style Test

I've always wanted to draw a cover Struzan style. Name a childhood movie and the chances are drew Struzan made the poster. I like his idea to a mixed media approach with a breakdown of steps to increase detail. This was my test attempt using digital tools. The drawing is tiny, I found and old sketch to work with and started adding layers of colour and texture. It's my most successful attempt thus far.
