Description

***new version*** ***full view required*** (wild animal) First picture of a long travel that changes a life. I have been so tremendously lucky to visit this incredible country for three weeks.
This picture has been captured in the central kalahari game reserve (A reserve as big as a country...).
This solitary lion was resting in the grass and we were lucky that our guide see him lurking beside the path.

I've been so captivated by thos eyes looking at me.... this was an incredible moment (one of the first of a long list of great moments!).

I hope you'll like the picture as much as I do.
Comments and critiques are very welcome.

Thank you in advance for the support and feedbacks.

Wow, Seb! What a great experience to go to Botswana! I just read your journal and this deviation popped out instantly. Those eyes are indeed, like you say, incredibly captivating. He makes you look him in the eye and you almost start to feel like some kind of prey.

The scars on his face and his ears make him even scarier, 'cause it shows to me that he's been in quite a few battles and obviously he came out well.

The focus is perfect, I love how much he stands out, my attention instantly goes towards his eyes, but the line of his body against the background is incredibly sharp. I love that!

The pastel colors make it relaxing in spite of the fact this gorgeous lion is staring at me.

I also love the details, like his manes and his whiskers.

Can't help but love this! Curious to see what else you got in store for us, Seb!
