For Love of the Cake Ch1 TG-GB
Chapter 1There's something you should know about me. I love cake. It is beyond a doubt the
best food on the face of this universe. Except the kinds with fruit in them. Then it
just gets soggy and gross. Also cheesecake makes me choke. Every time for some
reason I can't eat it with out almost killing myself. Anyways, this is why I got a
job with a caterer about six months ago. You see there's a wedding between two of
the most rich and powerful families in the city. This is costing millions. They
rented Madison Square Garden for not only the wedding but the reception as well. Now
that's when you know you have power. I had to get a taste of ...
This particular long-winded ramble starts off with the difference between Hyrule's (and therefore Termina's) various types of undead. Courtesy of Choro, who just sort of came out with this in a totally unrelated scene in my head, some three years or more ago now:"A Poe is what happens when the body dies, but the soul is kept from passing on by some great anger or grief, and goes roaming on its own as a monster. A Stalfos is what happens when the soul refuses to leave the body after its death, so that the bones rise up to go walking again. And a ReDead or Gibdo is what happens when the soul withers inside the body, leaving the soulless c...
Henry's mother was startled by an escaped gorilla when she lived by the zoo and was carrying him. She wasn't terribly surprised later when he was born and she found he looked just like a gorilla, but she was a little disappointed. She'd grown up watching traditional nuclear families on black and white sit coms and had her heart set on her own family resembling those good looking, photogenic and sharp witted families that she watched on television, but now she had to scrap that fantasy. Oh well, it was already on shaky ground before the kid was even born because her husband turned out to be kind of a weirdo. She fell in love with him becaus...

A Touch Too Close - Part 3
Three Potential Answers My first memory is unreliable. It is mired in the shifts and rewrites of retrospect and thoughtful analysis. My first memory is strong. There is an impression left by the memory which reverberates through my entire life.My first memory is of my mouth clinging to Codie's chest as I suckle from her right nipple. I remember her smile as she looks down at me and I remember how she looks over to Harper, just out of contact, as he makes playful hand gestures to me.Even then, my mind seized upon this moment and tried to break it down into meaning. My first attempts were feeble. But it was a beginning. The first attempts by m...

A Transformers: Armada Story
By William Rendfeld “You must be insane!” Not even a critical glance from Vector Prime was able to dissuade King Atlas from continuing to scoff at the idea. “Spark extractors?! New bodies for those two idiots?! Hot Shot shouldn’t have even gone to Earth in the first place, and Smokescreen was suicidal for even thinking of–!” “Can it be done?” Before the ivory Autobot could protest his interruption, the ancient Prime turned to Jetfire. “The theory is sound. I see no reason why it should not at least be attempted.” A glint of joy was just visible in the shuttle’s optics. “That’s all I needed to he...

Equestria girls ep 6-heist gone wrong
Rover silhouette outlined by the faint glow of the jewelry store's neon sign.
His steps are deliberate, each footfall silent on the pavement. He whistles.
He reaches into his jacket and retrieves an old pocket watch, its brass surface catching the light. Engraved with intricate designs, it bears the initials of his great-grandfather, Enzo Silverton.*
"For you, Nonno Enzo"
He presses a kiss to the watch before carefully stowing it back in his jacket.
His gaze sweeps across the deserted street, alert and calculating. From the shadows emerge his accomplices, Fido and Spot.
rover in a hushed tone, signaling to his friends, "Let's do this"
With a shared nod, the trio moves towards the jewelry store, Rover leads the way, his mind focused on the task ahead, each step bringing them closer to their objective.
As they approach the entrance, Rover pauses briefly, scanning for any signs of security.
Finding none, he turns to Fido and Spot, his expression determined yet tinged with a hint of adrenaline.
rover in a low voice, "Stay sharp. We're in and out"
With that, Rover pushes open the door, the bell above it chiming softly. They disappear into the store, enveloped once more by darkness as they embark on their daring heist.
The scene unfolds inside the luxurious yet dimly lit jewelry emporium.
Rover, Fido, and Spot move with practiced efficiency, their figures silhouetted by the ambient glow of display cases filled with glittering treasures.
Rover in a hushed tone, directing his friends, "alright you all know the plan, we get in get out and
Keep it moving. Grab everything valuable. Grab everything you ok"
"Yes sir" Fido nodded.
"Affirmative" spot says.
Fido and Spot swiftly fill their bags with diamonds, necklaces, and watches.
The air is tense with anticipation as they work methodically, ensuring they leave no valuable behind.
Rover, however, spots a particularly large and dazzling diamond nestled in a velvet-lined case.
"Rover, we got enough. Let's go" Fido whispered.
Despite Fido's warning, Rover's gaze lingers on the diamond. It seems to shimmer with an otherworldly allure, beckoning to him.
"Rover" he whispered.
"In a minute man" rover says. "Just one more"
He reaches for the diamond, his fingers brushing against its cool surface. he carefully lifts it from its display, the weight of the decision settling on his shoulders.
"Rover, leave it! We're done here" Fido says.
Spot glances nervously at the door, sensing the increasing risk of their prolonged presence.
"We can't stay much longer. The cops could be here any minute" spot says.
Rover hesitates for a moment, torn between the allure of the diamond and the imminent danger. His grip tightens around the gemstone, a defiant glint in his eyes.
With a swift motion, he secures the diamond in his bag, the final piece of their heist.
Rover carefully pockets the final diamond, his expression conflicted yet determined. As he turns to leave, the faint sound of an alarm pierces the air. Panic flashes across Fido and Spot's faces.
"Rover, we've got to move! The alarm!" Fido grabs his arm.
Spot glances nervously at the exit, his hand tightening around his bag of stolen goods.
"We better hurry before the cops come" spot says.
Rover's heart races as he realizes the gravity of the situation.
Outside, an ambitious Detective: Marcus Evergreen receives a police report about the robbery at the jewelry emporium.
Marcus, a seasoned investigator with a reputation for tenacity, has a personal vendetta against the Diamond Dudes.
Detective Marcus Evergreen gritting his teeth as in his office was crime board of the diamond dudes, everything pictured of the crimes they committed.
"Attention all units, we have a 10-90 reported at Goldstone Jewelry Emporium on 5th Avenue. Repeat, 10-90 at Goldstone Jewelry Emporium. Suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous. Proceed with caution."
"We've arrived at Goldstone Jewelry Emporium. Entry appears to have been forced. There's evidence of a burglary. Requesting backup and forensics team."
"Copy that. Backup and forensics team en route."
"This is unit 12, I'm nearby. I'll head over to provide backup."
"10-4, unit 12. Exercise extreme caution."
"Dispatch, this is unit 7. I'll patrol the perimeter. Suspects may still be in the area."
"Unit 7, proceed with caution. Suspects are believed to be Diamond Dudes. Detective Evergreen, please respond."
"Go ahead."
"We have a confirmed 10-90 at Goldstone Jewelry Emporium. Suspects are believed to be Diamond Dudes. Proceed with immediate action."

"Copy that. I'm en route. Notify SWAT and set up a perimeter."
"10-4, Detective Evergreen. SWAT and perimeter set. Those Diamond Dudes again. This ends tonight"
Back inside, the Diamond Dudes sprint through the emporium, their footsteps echoing urgently.
Rover leads the way, his mind racing with adrenaline-fueled calculations.
"Move! We need to find another way out" rover says.
They navigate through a maze of display cases and velvet ropes, their breaths shallow with the weight of impending capture. Outside, the sound of sirens grows louder, signaling the approach of law enforcement.
"There's no way out, Rover! We're trapped!"
Fido's eyes dart around, searching for a solution amidst the chaos.
As Rover, Fido, and Spot swiftly exit the jewelry store, their arms laden with stolen jewels, the tranquility of the night is shattered by the shrill wail of sirens. Red and blue lights flash in the distance, casting an ominous glow.
"Time to split up. Meet at the rendezvous point"
The trio nods in silent agreement, each disappearing into different alleyways and side streets.
Rover ducks into a narrow alley, adrenaline coursing through his veins.
Suddenly, a black cat darts across his path, causing him to stumble.
The stolen diamond tumbles from his pocket, rolling swiftly into a nearby storm drain.
"You've got to be kidding me..."
He hesitates for a moment, torn between retrieving the diamond and escaping the approaching police.
With a solemn glance at his grandfather's watch, he makes a quick decision to abandon the gem and continues his dash towards safety.
Meanwhile, Fido encounters an unexpected obstacle in the form of a late-night delivery truck blocking his intended path.
He curses under his breath, his muscles straining as he vaults over the vehicle, but the delay threatens to cost him precious time.
Spot, navigates the maze of streets effortlessly, relying on his tablet to deactivate surveillance drones they deployed earlier. However, just as he approaches the rendezvous point, the tablet glitches, leaving behind a trace of their activities.
"Come on, come on..."
He manages to erase the data in the nick of time, but the close call leaves him visibly shaken.
*At the auto shop, the gang's designated safe haven, tension hangs thick in the air. Fido paces restlessly, his nerves on edge from the heist's intensity.
"That was too close... too risky"
Rover arrives moments later, a triumphant smirk spreading across his face as he proudly displays the stolen diamond.
"Check out this beauty" Fido's expression darkens, concern etched on his features.
"Are you out of your mind, Rover? We had a plan. Stick to the plan!" Rover's smirk fades, sensing Fido's disapproval.
"It was a perfect opportunity. Couldn't pass it up"
Fido shakes his head in exasperation, the weight of responsibility evident in his voice.
"It's not about the opportunity, Rover. We needed a clean getaway. That diamond could lead them right to us"
Spot, still visibly rattled from the glitch with the drones, interjects with a nervous tone.
"He's right, Rover. We can't afford any slip-ups"
Rover's initial pride wanes under the weight of their collective disappointment. He glances at the diamond, now a symbol of both triumph and potential danger.
"Alright Fine. Let's lay low for now. We'll figure this out"
The trio settles into an uneasy silence, their thoughts racing with the implications of their daring heist and the unforeseen complications that now threaten their safety and freedom.
Inside the dimly lit auto shop, tension hangs thick in the air as Rover, Fido, and Spot regroup after their daring heist.
The stolen jewels lay scattered on a workbench, glittering temptingly under the single overhead bulb.
"You're bleeding"
Rover, caught off guard by Fido's observation, glances down to find a small but noticeable wound on his forearm, a result of his earlier stumble in the alley.
"It's nothing. Just a scratch"
Fido steps closer, his expression grave as he inspects the injury.
"We can't afford to overlook this, Rover. Infections can set in fast"
Spot, ever the practical one, retrieves a first aid kit from a nearby shelf and joins them.
"Sit down. Let's clean this up before it gets worse"
Rover hesitates for a moment before reluctantly obeying, taking a seat on an old stool.
Fido and Spot work in tandem, cleaning the wound with antiseptic wipes and carefully bandaging it.
"You need to take better care of yourself, Rover. We can't afford any slip-ups, especially now"
Rover nods silently, his mind racing with a mix of adrenaline and concern over their close call with the law.
"Sorry about the diamond"
Fido sighs, his frustration tinged with understanding, "
We'll deal with it. Right now, we need to focus on laying low and staying off their radar"
Spot finishes securing the bandage, offering Rover a reassuring nod.
"We got this. Just stay sharp"
With the wound attended to and a plan forming to mitigate the risks of their heist, the Diamond Dudes settle into a temporary respite, knowing that their next moves could determine their fate in the unforgiving world they navigate.

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT: MEET THE CLONESThe huge ass rumble in Knothole had been continuing, the golems were largely reduced to crystal shards and most of the bounty hunters were captured or disabled. The only one of the bad guys who was still putting up a fight was Miles, and he had been holding his own against his counterpart rather well.Miles swung down his tails down on Tails, who blocked with his own, both clashing with their sharpened appendages like swords. Tails’ fist connected with Miles cheek, but in return he was kneed by Miles in the stomach. Miles grabbed Tails chest fur as Tails grabbed...

Melody as a human girl was transformed into a poly
(Verse 1)
In a world of magic and mystery,
A tale unfolds, a girl's destiny.
Morgana, the sorceress, cast her spell,
Turning a girl into a polyp, oh, how she fell.
(Chorus)
But Jim, a brave soul, stepped into the scene,
He made a deal with Morgana, unforeseen.
To stay with the girl, now a polyp so small,
Their bond would endure, through it all.
(Verse 2)
As the moonlight danced upon the sea,
Jim and the polyp, together they'd be.
He promised her love, he promised her care,
In this enchanted world, they'd make a pair.
(Chorus)
But Morgana's power, it came with a cost,
Jim's heart was bound, his freedom was lost.
Yet he chose to stay, to be by her side,
In this strange form, their love would abide.
(Bridge)
Through coral reefs and ocean's deep,
Their love grew stronger, secrets they'd keep.
Jim's sacrifice, a testament of devotion,
A polyp's heart, filled with endless emotion.
(Chorus)
As time went by, their bond never waned,
In this underwater world, their love sustained.
A melody of hope, in the depths they'd dwell,
Jim and the polyp, a tale to tell.
(Outro)
So let this melody be a reminder to all,
Love knows no boundaries, big or small.
For in the depths of the sea, a love did unfurl,
As a human girl transformed, into a polyp, a precious pearl.
