Sonic is the main character in the series named after him. Sonic is a character who has had a ton of incarnations and inconsistent portrayals of his personality. In the first four classic Sonic games, he's portrayed as both cocky and serious. In Sonic Adventure, and the cartoons, he becomes more friendly. In SA2, we get the version of Sonic we had in Sonic the Hedgehog 3--in my humble opinion. What you see is what you get. . . just a guy who loves adventure.
