It was dusk when she woke up, her eyes opened and scanned around her dark cabin in the woods. She had put up curtains and wood slabs to keep out sunlight and animals alike, she got up out of bed and took down the wood blocking her window. Laila groaned as she saw that something or someone had shattered her only glass window. She slammed the wood slab back up against her broken window, she got out a match and lit a candle to see around her small hovel. The bug was instantly crushed and splattered across the space of her sole where it came down.
