“Who taught you how to drive, you moron! You’re slower then my grandma, and she’s on a wheelchair!” yelled Rose, slamming her fist on the horn as she sped around the slower moving vehicle, glaring out the side window as she passed it.
“Please Rose, stop yelling at that poor old man. He looks so decrepit it’s a miracle they let him drive at all” Lily laughed nastily from the passenger seat, trying to cover the tremor in her voice as the car raced through the street at neckbreaking speed, heading to Nicole’s home for their planned sleepover “Still, why are you in such a rush? It’s barely 7°pm. We’ve got all night to gossip, pig out on junk food, and paint each other’s toenails.”
“It’s not that” said the redhead, choosing to not comment on the toenail painting comment. They both knew she pretended to hate girlish things in order to keep her tomboy reputation, but actually loved them. It didn’t mean she appreciated the reminder “Nicole’s aunt made her famous meatloaf yesterday, and I bet
“Hlllp! Hlllp!”
Mina Monroe screamed as loud as she could; she figured no one would hear her, but she had to try.
The teenage girl couldn’t believe that this had happened to her. One minute, she was enjoying herself, and the next, she was wrapped up tightly in ropes to a chair, with several strips of duct tape over her mouth.
“MMMMPH!” she yelled, as she rocked the chair she was tied to, hoping to loosen the ropes. No good, the ropes held fast.
Realizing she wasn’t going to get out anytime soon, she decided to think back on how she ended up in this predicament in the first place.

It had been not that long ago when Mina found her out her pet bunny Bunnicula was actually a vampire.
Looking back, it’s amazing she hadn’t figured it out before. His name was a combination of the words “bunny” and “Dracula” after all.
Plus, there always seemed to be strange things happening around the Orlock Hotel where she lived. The building did have a reputation for such
“Is she awake yet?” a soft voice called, bringing Tyrna back from the utter silence of the dark. “Why isn’t she awake? Something must be wrong.”“You’re the healer, you tell us.” The voices were getting louder and clearer, which probably meant she was regaining consciousness. How long had she been out? ‘Three days,’ a voice in her mind whispered. ‘The others have been terribly worried. You collapsed after getting Alana to shore.’ Ah yes, their arrival back in the world of the living had been anything but graceful. They’d quite literally “popped” back into existence and promptly fell into the sea. Spluttering, coughing, and swearing, the ...

Never been any reason Hellsing mansion, September 5th, 2016 Caitlyn sat on the windowsill, legs drawn to her chest, and stared into the dreary day. Beside her lay the copy of Shakespeare's complete works she had gotten when she left the orphanage for good. She had been the only one to ever read it anyway. Not that she gave anyone else a chance to. When she didn't walk around, observing the world around her, she read hardly any other book. Caitlyn had been a curious child. In retrospect, she knew she had been a pain in the ass because of that. The Josephs and Josies were busy enough with the troubling kids. But she didn't realize that bac...
"So anyways, it was snowing really hard, like it always does in the Wastelands during Frost. I was lost. Again. Laugh all you want. I wasn't laughing. Especially when I saw him. Walking through the storm like a snow spirit, emo as hell and seemingly unaffected by the cold."
"Wait a second, Talynia. Are you saying you saw another hallucination? Or did you do something stupid, like invite him into your camp?" a man asked from the back of the hall.
I lifted my head high and stared the crowd down from my perch on the banister. Never let it be said that I didn't care for dramatics. "Do you want to know why I was late or don't you?" I demanded i...
