The four arrived at a building that looked abandoned for years. "What is this place?" The prince asked as he advanced until he passed everyone. "This was the mint, when your parents reigned all the money was produced here... And no one suffered poverty much less hunger." The dog sighed and the wolf at her side did the same, since the parents had disappeared the great kingdom that was Hell was slowly ending up in more and more ruin. Lin noticed the prince's discomfort and put her hand on his closest shoulder, when the canine stared at her she smiled to encourage him and he imitated the expression. “So, why are we here?” Ryan asked with his arms folded. "As I said: whoever ordered the attacks in the Greed district resides here." The dog turned her head towards the lion, while the wolf breathed in through his nostrils. "Then let's go and meet him." As soon as Alex touched the door the object fell due to lack of maintenance and produced a loud thud to say the least. "Sorry". Alex was about to enter, but Ryan blocked his path. "No, now they know we're here." The feline walked slowly inside the building, having time to take about eleven steps before knives, daggers and even arrows were thrown from everywhere. "RYAN!" The prince was about to run inside the building but was stopped by the leopard. “Remember, the Deadly Sins are the strongest warriors in the kingdom… A title they have earned.” The lion waved the scythe rapidly and every weapon thrown fell, many were broken, the various attackers looked at the scene in shock. Among them there was also the lion whose mane had been restored by the warrior of Pride. They were in the right place. A single, slow clap of hands broke the silence, a figure made its way from the upper floor which had now been disused for years. "You?!" Asked the prince intently staring at the newcomer. The snow leopard, the one who was on the road and who had attacked him and then said that he had been forced by those who, in reality, were his followers. "Your Majesty, you should stay to pal-" The wolf, overcome by anger, threw a knife towards the feline above who miraculously dodged it. His cheekbone bled and he looked at the prince without the confidence he had had until recently. “You besmirch the name of my parents, make my people poor, and dare to look down on me?!” Lin smiled when she saw the wolf speaking like someone who had sat on the throne until a few years ago. "Lin, Ryan... He's mine." The canine pointed to the feline who smiled again. "Then come and get me... If you can!" The snow leopard tightened a rope and revealed a metal pool with molten gold boiling inside. "Kill them!" Alex ran quickly with several attackers who tried to block him, but between his agility and the brute strength of the lion and leopard at his side no one could touch him. Starecy was targeted by one of the enemies sure of having an easy victory against a blind opponent, unfortunately for him the dog took a step aside at the last moment and the opponent fell out of the window. Meanwhile, Alex reached the same floor as the feline he despised and threw a punch that made his nose bleed. Lin, however, took one of the attackers and used him as a shield from all the punches that tried to reach her. "Why do you hit your friend?" She ironically repeated with each punch that the unfortunate opponent's face worsened. Ryan used the weapon's stick to break the nose of one of the attackers and touch the foot of another with the blade and the latter fell. Then he began to move so fast that none of the surrounding enemies had the courage to come closer, then he spun around like a crazy top and the blade wounded all the enemies several times who fell in pain. Alex was pushed against the wall and his eyebrow broke, but he swung his head back and pushed the feline away and then punched the feline's face a couple of times until he raised his arms in guard. The wolf chuckled. “Bad move.” He kicked between the legs of his opponent who fell to the ground in pain. He used the opportunity to tie the enemy's legs with the rope with which he had discovered the pool of boiling gold and dangled him over them. "NO! NO! PLEASE!" "IT WAS MEANT FOR US, WAS IT?! IF OUR PLACES WERE REVERSED AND I BEGGED YOU YOU WOULD DO THIS!" The wolf slid the rope until the leopard was an inch from the boiling liquid. He screamed throughout the fall and did so again when a drop of boiling gold flew onto his cheek. The wolf picked him up. "Choose: prison or death." The feline gulped. "I warn you, I'm not like the lion: my arms don't have much resistance." For a second time he slid the feline. "OKAY! OKAY!" The wolf picked up the snow leopard again and placed him on the floor. "ALEX!" Lin shouted as the snow leopard got up to throw the prince into the molten gold, unfortunately for him Starecy hit him on the head with a piece of wood and knocked him out. "Thank you". The wolf smiled and noticed that the dog's blindfold was half down, one of the eyes was visible and colored. "Aren't you blind?!" "It's complicated, I was it in my mortal life and when I ended up here I recovered my sight, but I was born without it and I'm not used to seeing." Starecy smiled and put the blindfold back into place. The wolf put his arm around her neck. Now that these criminals have been dealt with I can think of a task for you." Alex corse velocemente con diversi aggressori che provarono a bloccarlo, ma fra la sua agilità e la forza bruta del leone e del leopardo al suo fianco nessuno potè sfiorarlo. Starecy fu puntata da uno dei nemici sicuro di avere una vittoria facile contro una cieca, purtroppo per lui il cane fece un passo di lato all'ultimo e l'avversario cadde dalla finestra. Nel mentre Alex raggiunse lo stesso piano del felino che disprezzava e gli sferrò pugno che gli fece sanguinare il naso. Lin, invece, prese uno degli aggressori e lo usò come scudo per tutti i pugni che provavano a raggiungerla. "Perché picchiate un vostro amico?" Ripeteva ironicamente a ogni pugno che peggiorava la faccia del malcapitato. Ryan usò il bastone dell'arma per rompere il naso a uno degli aggressori e con la lama ferì il piede di un altro. Poi iniziò a muoversi così velocemente che nessuno dei nemici intorno aveva il coraggio di avvicinarsi, poi girò su sè stesso come una trottola impazzita e la lama ferì più volte tutti i nemici che caddero doloranti. Alex fu spinto contro il muro e il sopracciglio si ruppe, tuttavia agitò la testa all'indietro e allontanò il felino per poi colpire un paio di volte la faccia finché quest'ultimo issò le braccia in guardia. Il lupo ridacchiò. "Pessima mossa". Sferrò un calcio fra le gambe dell'avversario che cadde a terra dolorante. Sfruttò l'occasione per legare le gambe del nemico con la corda con cui aveva scoperto la piscina d'oro bollente e lo mise a penzoloni su di essi. "NO! NO! TI PREGO!" "ERA DESTINATA A NOI, VERO?! SE I NOSTRI POSTI FOSSERO INVERTITI E IO TI SUPPLICASSI TU FARESTI QUESTO!" Il lupo fece scivolare la corda finché il leopardo si ritrovò a un centimetro dal liquido bollente. Urlò per tutta la caduta e lo fece di nuovo quando una goccia d'oro bollente gli volò sulla guancia. Il lupo lo tirò su. "Scegli: prigione o morte". Il felino deglutì. "Ti avverto, non sono come il leone: le mie braccia non hanno molta resistenza". Per una seconda volta fece scivolare il felino. "VA BENE! VA BENE!" Il lupo issò nuovamente il leopardo delle nevi e lo poggiò sul pavimento. "ALEX!" Urlò Lin quando il leopardo delle nevi si alzò per buttare il principe nell'oro fuso, purtroppo per lui Starecy lo colpì in testa con un pezzo di legno e lo mise al tappeto. "Grazie". Il lupo sorrise e notò che la benda del cane era mezza abbassata, uno degli occhi era visibile e colorato. "Non sei cieca?!" "È complicato, lo ero nella mia vita mortale e quando sono finita qui ho recuperato la vista, ma sono nata senza di essa e non sono abituata a vedere". Starecy sorrise e rimise la benda a posto. Il lupo le mise un braccio dietro il collo. "Ora che questi criminali sono stati sistemati mi viene in mente un compito per te". "Sì, Maestà?" "Farò ristrutturare questo posto e la zecca riprenderà a produrre denaro, vorrei che tu fossi il capo". "Io?!"
