Riding the Lightning: Ch. 1
Location: Ixoria Airfield, Ixoria, Evaland Empire.
That night.
Medical teams as well as several Micronauts rushed to the new airfield- the largest in the world- to greet their injured comrades who were being returned by way of a large transport plane. Stretchers were being wheeled out along the tarmac as Hana, Allie, Ktan, and Sabrina limped out of the aircraft that transported them separately from the rest of the Giantesses. Their dress uniforms were badly tattered and burned, no longer suitable for use, although Sabrina's suit looked mostly fine.
Maia, Kangi, and Molly Kitamura were there to meet them. Ktan was quiet as usual, and Allie helped her into a special large stretcher, as it appeared Ktan was having great difficulty with walking. Sabrina was already lying in a large stretcher and had an oxygen mask put on by the trained Giant Tinerians medical team who were specially equipped to help Micronauts. Hana, despite her injuries which appeared numerous, spared no words for her friends as she  hobbled to her stretcher that was more than 20 feet long.
"It was a route!" Hana proclaimed with a raspy and exhausted voice.
Seeing her wife in such a condition, Maia tried to hold back her anger and emotions. She instead directed Kangi to assist the others. "Kangi, go check on them."
Kangi was ahead of her, and Maia didn't realize that the support girl was already checking in with Sabrina who spoke to her through the oxygen mask. Now Maia thought to redirect Molly to assist with Ktan and Allie, but instead, Boss Hana had a different idea for her. "Molly, please check on the-"
"Molly!" Grunted Hana, who reached down and put her hand on Molly's shoulder. "You can stop the Giantesses from being vulnerable!"
"Me?" Molly quipped.
"For years... The principle of a Giantess Expeditionary Force was thought of as sound, taken for granted!" Hana began to explain as the medical team handed her a crutch to aid in her balance, which she sorely needed.
"We must operate, you have necrosis." A Giant Tinerian expert advised.
Hana swatted her hand to her for a second, as she wanted to continue speaking, even with a left leg turning black. "Ladies, the creation of a unique giant-sized fighting force was only the beginning. We may be large and mighty, but we are still vulnerable even in our suits!"
"Honey, your leg looks horrible." Maia remarked seeing the dead tissue through her destroyed thigh-high boot.
"Nevermind that!" Hana grumbled.
"She is okay! Baby girl needs rest!" Kangi shouted from beside Sabrina's stretcher.
Now as Sabrina was hauled off, Kangi turned her attention toward Ktan and Allie who were both lying on their stretchers. Ktan was seen waving her hand gently to a Tinerian nurse. "Tchah..." She answered with an exhausted voice.
"We did what we could for them at the clinic in Magver." The head medical expert who flew with the girls said, approaching Maia. "Doctor, we could have treated them better there, but the necrosis... It..."
"How bad is it?" Maia asked the Shiqaw medical doctor who had treated all of the Giantesses personally.
"It is hard to say. We must get them to the clinic here in the city. It was onset early this evening, and that's why we rushed them here. Time is of the essence, Giant Mother." The doctor replied as Hana was helped into her stretcher.
Now Hana reached over and grabbed Molly's lab coat by the collar and just slightly pulled her in. "Listen to me. Three years ago you produced the first prototype of a proper armor to be worn by a warrior of size! We destroyed it because we destroyed Ghoul!"
"Hana..." Maia tried to intervene so that Hana could receive her treatment.
But Hana ignored this, and she ignored the oxygen mask that one of the staff was holding over her head. Molly knew what Hana was getting at and said "Marshal, I thought we were against the idea of mechanized Giantess warfare? You said yourself that-"
"I was wrong. A lot of us were wrong, but I take the blame! Now more than ever, a Giantess needs her armor, with or without weaponry!"
Hana held tightly onto her collar of Molly's coat, she stared into her eyes like she meant every word of what she was saying to her. Meanwhile Maia inquired if Hana was under any influence at all from medication. "Have you provided her with any pain killers or antibiotics?"
"Antibiotics, but the Marshal has thus far refused anything else." The Shiqaw doctor said.
"Molly.... I'm ordering you to build my Giantesses a better suit." Grumbled Hana.
Now Shamid was on the scene and was close enough that she could interrupt. She appeared so quickly that it took everyone who didn't notice her by surprise. A giant hand came down upon Hana's arm, and she immediately knew whose it was. Hana let go and Shamid did also in return. "Shams?" Hana said to her.
"Marshal, this isn't about making our Giantesses stronger. It's about making all of us as a nation stronger." Shamid told her calmly.
Hana huffed a few times in her exasperation. She knew that Shamid was right and plopped her head down onto the stretcher where the oxygen mask was placed over her nose, being a little small for a woman of her size. From behind the mask, Hana said as distinctly and clearly as she could make her voice "we have brought this creation to the Otherworld, now we must be its masters."
"Take her to the clinic." Maia said, giving the staff a nod. They promptly began to rush Hana away just behind Ktan and Allie. This left Kangi, Shamid, Maia, and Molly together beside the plane. They were accompanied by doctors briefly, who gave them the full status of each girl.
"My friends." Said the Shiqaw doctor who was the chief medical doctor for every Micronaut and their staff.
"Talk to us." Shamid insisted.
The doctor sighed first. "Sabrina's situation is stable, her necrosis is minimal. The rest of the GXF are in similar condition, and I expect all of them to make a recovery. Although several of them, including Sabrina experienced cardiac events, we do not believe they will permanently affect them."
"The others?" Asked Kangi.
"Hana, Ktan, and Allie were all much larger, which we believe may have shielded them from cardiac events, however, their tissue necrosis is worse by magnitudes. None of it was onset for anyone until two hours ago, which is why we had to rush them here for advanced treatment. Hana's case is particularly worse but... With some therapy and grafting, not to mention, a little help from our Fairy friends, they will make a full recovery as well."
The doctor's words were relieving to hear. "Would you agree with my hunch that whatever weapon was used was not used at full power?" Maia asked her.
"That is not up to me to decide, I am only a medical expert." The doctor suggested, showing his empty palms to the girls.
"Very well." Shamid said, which was a superior officer's way of letting the individual know that they were dismissed. The doctor bowed and he as well as his team followed the stretcher toward the nearest emergency vehicle. Molly realized that all eyes were on her, she looked down at the tarmac, nervous about the massive project before her, she thought that when Hana grabbed her, the physical memory of it and the memory of the greatest Giantess alive giving her such a monumental task was permanent.
"Doctor Kitamura. My Giantess has given you a task, are you up to it?" Shamid questioned her.
"It will be difficult." Molly insisted. "What you saw Ghoul wear was only a prototype. We Humans have been prototyping these armor suits for decades and each time, your team demolished them easily. It proved to us that our ideas were vulnerable."
"Baby girl? Why not do something with the suits we wear nooooowwww???" Kangi asked her.
Kangi may not have been the most advanced thinker of the team, but she was known for her brilliant ideas. When this came up, Molly's eyes showed renewed vigor, and Maia seemed excited with the prospect. "Look at youuuuu, Kangi! Coming up with such good ideas... Ya know, I'm supposed to be the smart girl here! Hehe!"
"You likey?" Kangi asked them.
"I suppose a brand new shrinking suit... Nay, a growing suit can be fashioned. But its primary use will be for growing. We know that Parallaxium is a uniquely stable and durable material but the Novodium and Luxium infused with the current suits is too unstable, making the suits impossible to make tougher than they already are." Molly said, sparking an idea in Maia's mind.
"The crystals and the liquids, Molly. They may hold the key to expanding the durability of our suits." Said Maia.
Shamid was hardly impressed and thus demonstrated her known genius intellect after Maia suggested exploring the new discoveries more. "Maia, the three bigger Giantesses were wearing their dress uniforms. We know that the suit would hold up better."
"So why not make the most of our suit's armor-like properties? And why not turn their dress uniforms, all of our dress uniforms into armor too?" Maia challenged the idea.
"An army of armored big baby girls." Kangi suggested.
"Molly and I shall commence this prototyping phase at once." Maia said, putting her arm around the junior scientist of the team. "We're turning her into quite the size fanatic, I see!"
But while Maia was excited, Shamid didn't share the same enthusiasm. However, she once again demonstrated the mores serious nature from within, and as the boss of all bosses, the Marshal of the Micronauts, Shamid leaned into little Molly, serious as a heart attack and said, "my Giantess has ordered you, so you will design the new suit."
Then Shamid extended her huge hand down to Molly and the two shook on it. "So it is decided." Molly assured her of her full cooperation.

Why Lin shouldn't go to buffets
(BIG FATS, Stuffing, Slob)“Midori... slow down! “Lin trailed behind the blue butterball, their bellies rumbling loudly. Breath was hard for her, sweat trailed down her ruddy cheeks. Lin’s stomach was flushed pink, and bobbing any which way. An angry grumble came from that orb.“Get some exercise, fatso! This place’s food is worth the hike!”Midori was in much of the same state, but her words had worth. Being the great friend she was, she had decided to take Lin on an intercity trip, one that would have them end at a brick wall of a building. The sign was a neon mess, with a cartoonish pig rubbing its stomach.“Welcome to the Trough! Best grub...
