Previously on ‘Tale of the Demon Ruler’: The next day or night as per say, Lady Janessa along with the villagers of the ‘Eastern Regions’ were on this secret meeting along with their skeletonized assistants when Mr. Akito somehow outsmarted Lady Janessa delaying her legal claims to the ‘Black Market’, having the chance to explain their village’s dilemma that has been pestering them for months now. Back on the ‘Trading District’, the new group of high Wathyrian officials has finally arrived, welcoming their guest from the ‘Western Regions’ when they finally noticed themselves being trapped in this eternal darkness casted throughout their village: Mr. Charlie’s group arrived being chased by this young messenger  from the ‘Port’ along the streets. Meanwhile, back at the ‘Port’ Area, the ‘Imperial Prince’ and his associates scrambled across the 'Viewing deck’ helping the other to evacuate out of the shorelines when his Highness received a strange text, ascending up in his heavy fog himself. On the other hand, Lady Rai and her beastly associates were found safe across this sandy coastlines themselves when the as per their claim, the ‘Creator of All’, appeared out of the blue and smiling at Rai themselves.

‘Ryushizaki Town:
Along the Main Road…
===
Along the sidewalks…
Mister Sir’s group, along with these public officers, are on the side curbs having this staring contest themselves.
“Good day, gentlemen and madam! I’m one of the traffic officers assigned across this street for today. My partner and I had to stop your old and rickety delivery truck on the right side of this major highway upon observing that you’re driving OVER the required speed limit of this town. Driving at 80km/h earlier could have endanger your lives and the other people using this highway. Hey? Mr. Driver, can you lower your side window and pay attention to us?” One of the uniformed personnel politely said, grunting in disbelief as they glance up at these people inside the truck.
“Yes, Sir! We were listening to you! But! Please let me explain. You see, Naoki’s boss - I mean, Markus and his group are on their way back to that magical Kingdom of some sort. Listen to me, Mister! I don’t have any time for this non sense! I truly believe that we’ve been asleep for 120 days for nothing! My dream WAS not just a hazy and impossible illusion just like the doctors told to us, so I need your group to let us get the hell out of here, right now! Am I right, Dear?!” Ms. Lady, the old woman in  fluffy peach-colored scarf, exclaimed in disbelief, panicking as she yelled at the officers.
“Honey! Calm down, will you?! Your panicking is not helping us at all! I’m so sorry for my wife’s behavior, Sirs. On my defence,  I - I WAS the one who asked Naoki, our store’s current driver to speed up on behalf of my wife’s annoying request. Again, I’m so sorry!” Mr. Sir, the old man in black leather jacket, exclaimed in fear, stammering as he gently pushed his wife back to the passenger seat.
“I understand, Officers. Now, you Mister Driver, can we have your driver’s license and official vehicle registration, please? We need those two to be reverified and recorded to our database, and then later on, give you this violation ticket for your reference of this incident. Hey, do you understand what I just said?” The second officer calmly responded, wondering as they approached the driver’s side.
“Hey, Master? What is a driver’s license? What the fuck is this registration anyway?! Hey! Why aren’t you answering me? Can’t you just let us go?! My nervous and insane ‘Imperial King’ is about to make his biggest mistake or comeback of this new year, and I want to tell him that I choose to stay in here with the others. Oh my! Everyone, what’s with the long faces? Did I say something wrong?” Naoki, the ‘Aethyrian’ lad on the driver’s seat, exclaimed in distress, enraged as he smiled at his associates.
“Officers! Please ignore these people and listen to me. Please give us a minute to find THIS man’s driver’s license and then - I found it! Here are the documents you need, Officers. I - I hope that you would  immedietely let us go after my associates created this unnecessary delay. Wait! Oh shit! Is that Master’s license? I grabbed the wrong satchel, and gave the wrong document!” Mr. Lukas exclaimed in annoyance, panicking as he pushed Naoki back to the passenger seat.
“Thank you, Mister, and you can have your wallet back. Anyway, let us examine this…interesting! Apparently, this man named as ‘Mister Flint’ owns this truck, but he had other people WITHOUT their own documents, recklessly driving it on his behalf. Anyway, Mr. Flint, whoever you are, could you get out of that truck, and come with us for a minute? There’s something we would like to  further discuss with you, if you please.” The third officer softly said, sighed in annoyance as they requested to Mr. Sir’s group.
“That person is me, Officers! I - I’m coming down, Sirs. Let me just unbuckle my safety belt, and I’ll join with you after I official introduced myself. Hello, Readers! I’m Mr. Flint, it is nice to meet you. Thank goodness, Ms. Author finally remembered my name. I’ll talk to all of you later on the story.” Mr. Flint cheerfully exclaimed, as he jumped out of the truck himself.
‘Mister Flint, we don’t know
Who are you talking to
But, this way, please.
Y- Yes, Sir! W - What seems
To be the OTHER problem?’
These husky voices softly said, echoing across the streets.
“Now, for the rest of you, please listen to us. Stay inside this vehicle as we continue conducting our investigation on you traffic violations - Hey, Mister! What are you doing?! Get back to the passenger seat, and don’t you dare hit that accelator pedal and drive away, Mam or else we will arrest you entire family for good! Hey! Everyone, get out to the way!” The fourth officer exclaimed in surprise, panicking as they alerted their colleagues.
‘Metropolis Police Dispatch!
We have a 30-06!
I repeat, a 30-06!
We have a loose delivery truck
Rampaging across the connecting bridge
Driving to the outskirts of the city
We need back–up, ASAP!
Over and out.’
These voices exclaimed in fear, panicking as it echoed across the road.

‘Somewhere over
the Metropolis’s Borders;
Across this forest…
===
At this deserted property,...
The ‘Miraculous Physician’, and his associates along with this group of business people are having their heated discussion outside this dilapidated building.
“Mister! Sir Realtor Price, please listen to me! For the last time, My husband - No! I - I mean, His Majesty wishes to purchase this entire 40-storey former recreational hotel for His personal reasons! I, on his behalf, gathered and prepared all the legal documents you’ve requested to us months ago, AND guess what?! None of these could convince your to let US buy this building for him. Tell me! Why?! What more do you want?” Ms. Castellia, the lady in silver hooded fleece, exclaimed in frustration, stomping on the ground as she shouted at this gentleman across the wooden table.
“My goodness! How many times do I have to remind you that my name is Mr. Atticus Van Price?! Anyway, for the sake of this secret meeting, please call me, Mr. Atticus, Miss Castellia. Now, as your partner’s real estate agent, I simply cannot sell you this entire haunted, as the folks people told us during our trip earlier, without knowing the true interest of the prospective buyer AND informing the former owners of this building myself. Mr. Markus, may I know why?” Mr. Atticus, the gentleman in black business suit and multicolored necktie, exclaimed in annoyance, enraged as he glared at Ms. Castellia’s group.
“Yes, of course, Mr. Atticus. I would love to answer your question, Sir. You see…I would like to purchase this strange hotel to replace and have Lady Castellia to manage this one soon right after I completely demolished hers a few months ago. Also, I got curious about the series of horrible mysterious crimes I found on the im-pre-net - I mean, did I pronounced it correctly?” Mr. Markus, on his sparkly purple lab coat, seriously said, smiling as he presented his phone to Mr. Atticus’s group.
“No, Sir. You didn’t. I’ve dedicated my life working on the real estate industry for fifteen years, and have encountered rich, demanding and irrational clients, but your group is the worse. I acknowledge that you are indeed an extravagant philantrophist of some sort, but you can’t instantly demand and do anything as you wish. Our company have to follow this process on behalf of our clients – Wait! Ms. Castellia? What are you doing? Where did you get that black ATM card?!” Mr. Atticus sighed in annoyance, scatching his head in anger as he glared at Ms. Castellia.
“Oh, this? His Majesty gave me this one along with the other seven multicolored express ATM cards and his check book, instructing me to use this in case that we fail to convince you to let us make this purchase with the former of this hotel. I just hope that Sir Hiiro won’t be angry at me after I use this without his supervision.” Ms. Castellia cheerfully said, presenting her hand bag and smirked at Mr. Atticus.
“Don’t worry, Hiiro would understand, my lady. Now, I’m getting impatient waiting for the former hotel to arrive at our meeting place. Damn it! I’ve already sent that text message to Shouta, and I’m still here! My son is expecting my help! Hey, how about you just accept this signed check book, and let us pass through this golden gates yourself?!” Mr. Markus exclaimed in annoyance, panicking as he slapped Mr. Atticus’s face with his check book.
‘Hey, Dear! Can I try, please?
Yes, of course, my lady!
Careful not to break that
Black card into halves.
Hey! Will the two of you
Stop slapping me with those
Cards?!’
These voices exclaimed in frustration, enraged as it echoed inside the forest.
“My Lady, Sir Markus, please stop doing that. Wait! Did you hear that?! Everyone, look behind us. It seems that Mister Paul and our lady guest has arrived. Hey! Can you all stop fooling around and listen to me? Are you all paying attention to this?! Damn it.” Mr. Hulian, Ms. Castellia’s assistant, exclaimed in disbelief, wondering as he yelled at Mr. Markus’s group.
“Everyone! I’m back, and as per Mr. Atticus’s request, I managed to pick-up and bring this old woman to this secluded hotel. Mam, this way, please. I would like you to meet Markus and his associates. They are the eccentric people who wanted to purchase your deceased husband’s hotel, and visit the infamous ‘Floor #13’ your haunted hotel was known for years ago.” Mr. Paul, the man with gray short hair, cheerfully said, smiling as he introduced their guest to Mr. Markus’s group.
“Oh my! You are right, Mr. Paul. These people or so what I thought, are as weird and lively as you described to me during our hiking trip back on this mountain hours ago. Anyhow, my apologies for the late introduction, I’m Endiana Calixto-Honduraz, the widow of the former owner of ‘Occasus Fines’ - I mean, the hotel behind us. It is my pleasure to meet your strange family, Mr. Markus.”  Ms. Endiana, the indigo-colored long-haired old woman, softly said, giggling as she introduced herself to Mr. Markus’s group.
“The pleasure is ours, my lady. I’m Markus, the VIII., an ‘Imperial Ruler’ and a general practitioner currently working at the ‘Metropolis Central Hospital’. My apologies for saying this, but your hidden third eye just above your right ear intrigues me the most. I assume that you could, perhaps, perceived us in our other forms. Am I right?” Mr. Markus seriously said, wondering as he carefully approached Ms. Endiana.
“Other forms, you say, Sir? If you were referring to your true identities, yes, I’m able to perceive it, vaguely. But, we’ll discuss about that later on. Thanks to Mr. Atticus’s efforts, it has come to my attention that you wish to purchase our old hotel, specifically the rumored ‘Floor #13’ or so what my dub-ass husband called it. May I ask the main reason why?” Ms. Ediana curiously said, yawning as she seized the check book out of Mr. Markus’s hand and stuffed it onto Mr. Atticus’s face.
“Yes, you may, Madam. You see, I cannot get back through or use the same ‘Doorway’ that I was exiled three years ago so, thanks to the sacrifice of the ‘Three Factors’, the ‘Rusty Gate’ were able to locate the other existing pathways scattered around this polluted world connecting back to my Kingdom and vice versa. With the perserverance of the other ‘Key’, along with the mysterious contents of that old shithead’s ‘Book’, and probably with the assistance of the ‘Catalyst’, these ‘Gates’ will continue to drastically expand until - Alright! That’s enough spoiler for today. Now! I’m running late! How much do you want for the entire thirteenth floor?” Mr. Markus cheerfully said, leaning down as he glared at Mr. Endiana’s group.
“I wasn’t expecting that kind of odd response, but you’re indeed an interesting man. So! I’ve made up my mind. In exchange for this signed check, the entire hotel is now sold and under your new management, Sir Practitioner. My only request is that you do not change its name as it reminds me how my deceased husband loves the sunset itself - Wait. Oh my! Mr. Paul, what’s with the long face?” Ms. Endiana cheerfully exclaimed, softly giggling as she gazed up at Mr. Paul.
“I understand that you badly needed the money to restart your life, Mrs. Endiana, and you probably forgot about this, but please listen to me everyone…I WAS the one who led that investigation team in solving the serious of these mysterious crimes that happened in ‘Floor #13’ years ago. I was instructed by former employer not to disclose any sensitive information that we found before to its new owners without asking for their permission first - Wait? What the hell? Your group’s twinkling eyes scares the shit out of my pants, Marcus!” Mr. Paul seriously said, pouting out as he confessed to Mr. Markus’s group.
“How intriguing, Mr. Paul! You see, His Majesty and I are a fan of mystery and crime stories so, based on the article that we've read on the internet, can you tell us what exactly happened at the ‘Room 13-03’? Is it true that someone accidentally drowned on the bathtub inside that VIP Room? Please? Dear, are you hearing this? Wait! Where did His Majesty and Mr. Atticus go?” Ms. Castellia exclaimed in excitement, squealing as she wondered and asked Mr. Hulian.
‘Hey! Mr. Markus! Get you ass back over here!
As the new owner of the hotel,
We are not done with the paperworks.
Hell no! You can ask my associates
To do the filing for me.
I need to find that ‘Doorway’ right now!
Nope! Get back over here!’
These hoarse voices exclaimed in disbelief, enraged as it echoed across the hotel’s vicinity.

Meanwhile, back at ‘Alementalia’
‘Eastern Regions’
====
‘Wathyria’s Coastlines’
Along this secluded beach…
‘I warn thee: The Flaming Devil
is coming back.
Now, before we part ways,
Remember that unconventional idea
You've had across this waters?’
‘Aradiem’ seriously said, dusting off their clothes as they gaze down at Rai’s group.
“The ‘Devil’, you say? Who are you referring to? Also, what unconventional idea of mine are you talking about - Wait! Oh, now I remember! Please listen to me. It wasn’t my intention to make such presumptious statement in front of everyone that midday. I was extremely upset to see that little ‘Turtlet’ passed away along with its brothers and sister on the sand before they even managed to get in the ocean and start their new life. That was it!” Rai, the lady in distressed, exclaimed in surprise, blushing as she explained to ‘Aradiem’.
‘I see, your Majesty.
But, before we continue this discussion
Any futher, may I offer my assistance
On removing that big ‘Beast’
Out of your leg?
Don’t worry. I’ll be gentle with it.’
‘Aradiem’ cheerfully said, wondering as he kneels on the sand and politely asked Rai.
“Yes - I mean, yes, you can, Sir? I would love to help ‘Ceila’ on finding her long lost twin brother but, as the ‘Imperial Ruler and Hero’, I must attend the needs of this dying village and its people first. Wait. I wonder, ‘Ryo’, that black cat, that firefly fairy and ‘Ceila’ has not made any movements right now. Hey! What have you done to them? Are they all dead?! Answer me! What happened to them?” Rai exclaimed in curiousity, enraged as she shouted back at ‘Aradiem’.
‘No, they are not dead, your Majesty!
We, the ‘Creator of All’, can manifest
Life itself, and take it back accordingly.
Now, stay still and allow me to
guide our uninvited guest
Out of our meeting place.’
‘Aradiem’ seriously said, grunting in annoyance as he grabbed this multi-legged creature and then simply throw it up in the air.
“Hey! Y - You just lifted up and threw that 20-foot long creature up in the air?! Are you insane?! Your impulsive and reckless actions hit that blue-winged ‘Fire Bird’ out of this heavy fog. Wait?! Oh no, that was not a ‘Fire Bird’ or any flying creature found in this village. Damn it! I must get out of here, and find Hikaru before its too, but someone’s barely clinging on my foot - Wait?! ‘Ryo’? You’re alive! But, how?” Rai exclaimed in surprise, mortified as she gazed down at her associate.
‘Ah, yes! I almost forgot about
You, the immortal clawed
messenger of Time,
That transcends throughout
The boundaries of
Life, the Living, and Death itself.
I’m impressed!’
‘Aradiem’ exclaimed in sarcasm, crossing their seven arms in annoyance as they smirked at ‘Ryo’.
“Lady Rai! I’m glad that you’re alive and unscathed. Well, you have an wounded leg, but still you’re safe. Anyway, please stand back, and let me deal with this ‘Beast’ myself. Lady Rai, are you listen to me? What are you doing with your ‘Imperial Sword’?” ‘Ryo’, in his human form, exclaimed in relief, panicking as he seized Rai’s weapon away from her.
“Hey, ‘Ryo’! I - I was using my sword to help me stand up on this slippery sand. Give it back to me! My goodness! Alright…my apologies for the interruption and let’s get back to the main task at hand! But, before I do that, hey ‘Aradiem’, right? Can I ask give you a hug?” Rai exclaimed in distress, wondering as she gazed up at this huge moth-like creature in front of her.
‘Yes, of course, your Majesty!
I’m much obliged.
You’re so warm just like
The sunlight hitting the luscious grasslands
during the first day of Spring.
But, may I ask why would do
Something like this?’
‘Aradiem’ cheerfully examined, pouting as they gazed down and tousle Rai’s hair.
“My hug is my form of showing how grateful I am on you for giving me the small red sunflower you’ve used to decorate my sword. This might sound weird, but you’re the first one who gave me a real single flower ever since I was unintentionally born. So, again thank you so much! I liked it!” Rai cheerfully said, softly smiling as she glance up at ‘Aradiem’.
‘You, young lady, are so strangely naive
and oddly interesting at the same time -
I mean, you’re welcome, your Majesty.
Ah, look at that!
Beyond this eerily tainted skies
And this dying ocean, your Majesty…
They finally arrived.’
‘Aradiem’ gasped in distress, squishing Rai’s cheeks as they both looked at this dried up coastlines beside them.
“‘Tainted skies’, you say? Now, I’m pissed! Whoever casted this eternal darkness on my Kingdom shall know my anger and the consequences of their malicious actions. On my word as the ‘Imperial Ruler’, I  promise to make them pay for this mess. Now! ‘Ryo’, can I have my sword back? I need to get out of here, and find these people myself!” Rai exclaimed in anger, grunting out as she commanded to ‘Ryo’.
“Y -  Yes, of course, your Majesty! Here is the ‘Imperial Sword’. Also, if I may be allowed to  speak…let us all calm down and think of another plan that doesn’t involve of anyone of us or the village and its people, especially you, dying along this rocky and mossy coastlines. Alas! How about this? How about we start a camp fire inside this abandoned cave behind me and then - Your Majesty! Your gentle smile scares the hell out of me!” ‘Ryo’ exclaimed in fear, panicking as he carefully approached Rai.
‘My apologies for interrupting, your Majesty
But, I do not have any time left.
As we leave, we remind thee this:
The horned ‘Devil’ is coming.
And it is inevitable.
Find and locate the other ‘Heroes’
Like you before its too late.’
‘Aradiem’ softly said, ascending up in this heavy fog and gazed down at Rai’s group.
“Three tasks? What do you mean, Sir? Hey! Where are you going? ‘Ryo’, look! Those groups of small  ghastly critters of all kind are devouring his rotting  body. I - I can’t look! I -I just can’t! I need to hide!” Rai exclaimed in fear, shivering in disgust as she hide behind ‘Ryo’.
“Your Majesty! Stay behind me, and do not look up. Hey! What do you mean by these three tasks? Also, what do you know about my clan, the ‘Cog Dragons’? Have you met my mother before? Damn it! Your Majesty! He can barely hear me. What are we going to do?” ‘Ryo’ curiously said, panicking as he looked at Rai.
‘Your Majesty, everything is written
On my ‘Book’. Find the other ‘Key’
Seek guidance from the ‘Gate Keeper’
And the ‘Great Prophecy’
Shall be determined by You.’
Farewell, Miss ‘Witch’!
We enjoyed our short meeting.
See you later at midday!’
‘Aradiem’ cheerfully exclaimed, waving down at Rai’s group as they slowly disappeared out of the fog.
“Mister, wait! What do you mean by that? Hey! The icky creatures are gone and so does he. Damn it! I will deal with his irregular riddles later on.  For the meantime, ‘Ryo’, listen to me! Let’s get these people out of this beach and then, - Hey, ‘Ryo’! Are you listening to me?!” Rai exclaimed in wonder, panicking as she shouted at ‘Ryo’.
“Your Majesty, please look behind you…we are doomed! We and your Kingdom maybe caged inside in this eternal darkness, but my 20:20 vision could still perceive our surrounding and based on what I can see… The entire ‘Eastern Ocean’ has gone dried up! Not single drop of water can be found in this entire beach. Everything is gone! What the hell happened here?!” ‘Ryo’ exclaimed in disbelief , dumbfounded as he runs along the slippery coastline.
“Damn it! Unforgivable! Now, I’m really mad! How brazen and insolent of them to do this on my Kingdom! I - I have to do something about this, immediately. But? What is the plan? My people are relying on me! How the hell I - I am going to fix this?! Somebody, please help me! I’m mortified!” Rai exclaimed in distress, sobbing on the sand as she clings on her sword.
‘We finally found you, little Miss!
And now, make our predetestined rendevouz
More exhalirating than we all expected.
We dare you to get
up on your ass and show
us your true abilities!’
These creatures of undefined and beastly forms, riding on these colossal, multicolored shelled sea creatures, exclaimed in excitement as they slowly ascended out of these series of treacherous waves.
“Y - Your Majesty! Look over there! T - Those abnormal and gargantuan series of tsunami waves will instantly destroy this entire Regions and erase your Kingdom out of the map forever -  Wait! Did you hear that? Aren’t those the mysterious voices who’s been trying to communicate with you ever since we’ve arrived at the ‘Lighthouse’ hours before?! Your Majesty? Hey, ‘Rai’! Why are you so eerily calm at times like this?!” ‘Ryo’ exclaimed in disbelief, mortified as he approached and asked Rai.
“Yes, I heard that, ‘Ryo’! I already know what to do so, stay here, and look after the others. I will be right back. Now, I hope my unconventional plan works…Within the abilities bestowed to me, I, the ‘Imperial Ruler’ of the few, the ‘Imperial Hero of Demons’ with this decorated weapon of Change on my right hand…On my command….” Rai calmly exclaimed, sprinting away dragging her sword along as she arrived inside this deserted land.
‘Fiat Lux!’, or so what
The crowned lady through
Her giant flaming weapon proclaimed.
Her command, penetrating twice
What was once vast and blue
Slowly parted into two gigantic walls of blood.
What was once tainted in jet-black hue,
Now, slowly dissipanting
As the warm sunlight pierce through.
Dear Readers, care to see what happens next?’
This silver haired moth-like creature softly, said, slyly grinning as its voice echoed across the coastlines.

Documentation on the Crossroads
A diversion from the usual fanfics. This is an original story, and part of the worldbuilding for my Crossroads story which is where our favorite dork Septi comes from.

"Amethyst reporting.
After many years of study, I finally feel confident enough to write this study of my new home the Crossroads.
Introduction:
The Crossroads is a complex ecosystem that is drastically different from the traditional reality.
For those of you who lack the context, when I say reality, I mean a bubble of time-space that contains a universe, multiverse, metaverse, or even omniverses. These bubbles float in a void simply referred to as the beyond, an absolute black void that contains almost nothing.4
One of the few things that this beyond contains is the crossroads. Despite being a pocket of time-space, it's not a reality, due to one major factor. The crossroads is an entity, basically, it's alive.
I have no idea how this is possible or how it was created, as it is

But before you sign a deal or place your first order, there’s a lot to unpack.
This guide takes a thoughtful, practical look at the key factors to consider when working with a cosmetic manufacturer. It’s not a promotional pitch — it’s the real talk that aspiring founders need to navigate the production side of the beauty business.
The Rise of Outsourced Manufacturing in Beauty
