Something Fishy in Paxton
Until recently, little was know about the Calder Institute. Six years ago, it seemed to pop out of nowhere as a large unique aquarium employing about 600 people. From public data, it encompassed a campus of 100 acres in Paxton, MA and hosted around 150,000 visitors a year.Yet, there were rumors surrounding the place. Some said that it was a project of an eccentric billionaire with a passion for marine life. Others claimed they saw mermaids in the tanks. Still crazier rumors abounded about wild DNA experiments. My inquiries to their public relations department had gone unanswered for months. Guess they didn’t want to talk to a local beat rep...
The dinner was going just about as well as you could have expected, given the attendance of those invited and the immediacy of the matter at hand. The curtains hung dark and silent against the cold windows, the ceiling was alight with the bright flames of the chandelier, and the carpet was thick and burgundy. Everything was in place, and everybody seemed to be enjoying their food; lobster and asparagus was a hit, it seemed. There was a certain air of hurriedness that you could feel, however, like scratching a small spot of eczema on the back of your hand. Bloody Evolution, Chapter 6: First Foray, part 1
Starcraft belongs to Blizzard, while RWBY belongs to Rooster Teeth. The next few days passed by without much incident: nobody had gone out looking for Yang just yet, although she had gone back home to leave a note for her family when they got back, and there were no additional Grimm attacks on the hive cluster, giving the blonde brawler plenty of time to work on improving her forces. The zerg hive mind was now maintained by no fewer than six Overlords, and half a dozen more Drones had been spawned to assist in digging for minerals. By now, the worker units had dug an impressive tunnel network going all the way down to bedrock with the hel...
Asylum -------------------------------
I do not own any of the named characters present. They all belong to DC Comics. This was written purely for fun.

asylum: 1. a psychiatric hospital; 2. a shelter ------------------------------- Chapter One The ride to Arkham Asylum always felt surreal when he wasn't driving the Batmobile. Bruce Wayne came here enough as his vigilante secret identity, hauling the escaped convicts back through the revolving doors of the rehabilitation center/prison. Not many people made the drive, aside from cops and the occasional reporter for a story. This wasn't a business trip. ...
