I know this is going to be a longer story than usual but bear with me. Read the full story, please.
*************************************************
Outside of the penal institution known as Belle Reves, the outlawed team of superheroes known as the outlaws were preparing for their mission. The Dark trinity, the young team, and Starfire and Arsenal/speedy/red arrow were waiting outside from a safe distance away from the building. Jason Todd speak up "all right, team. Waller has been onto us for a while now." he pretty much repeat everything they knew already. unlike what some might think, the team wasn't outside the current Belle Reves building, but they were outside an abandoned facility that used to be used as the prison. This former version of the prison was abandoned after an incident involving superman.
This old facility legally shouldn't be use at all by the government. Apparently, this is where Amanda Waller has been hiding at least according to their intel. She's been using this old place to lay low and draw attention to the current prison.
Their mission was to invade the facility, look out for Waller, capture her, and if necessary, make her spit the beans at any cost. "Think you can teleport us all inside?" Red x asks nightshade. "Sorry. There's too many of us and I don't know the building so we might not end up where we want." She also added that there was a chance Waller has a device to meddle with her powers in case they want to escape.
The team decided to split up in pairs. Jason and Jay, Bizarro and Bane, UVL and Kory, Nightshade and Speedy, and power boy with Artemis. They'll put on their earpiece ready to inform the rest if something happens and move on to the mission.
Roy leads the way alongside the young shadow girl. "Stay focused. If something goes wrong, we'll need you to get us out of here, Kay?-" he stops talking when he noticed she wasn't there anymore. "What the f-". He tried to call her through the earpiece, but the radio was down. "Great" he thought. He decided to go out of his way to track down the younger hero but before he could, a dart hit him in the neck.
It doesn't take too long for him to go down or for the rest of the team to be under attack. Bizarro and Bane were next. They hear something moving near them. Definitely something bigger than a rat. Bizarro tried to use his powers but whatever that was, was moving like a ghost. Bane tried to shoot at it, but it didn't seem to react even though he could swear he didn't miss a single time. It's like the bullets when through it.
Whatever thing was out there somehow throwing some sort of smoke bomb. Blue gas starts filing the room. Bane started feeling anxious and had trouble breathing and concentrating. He looks at his teammate and saw him in a similar state. He couldn't concentrate enough to realize the gas must have blue Kryptonite. That was it for the heavy hitter duo.
The mysterious enemy disappeared going for the rest of the team. UVL and Starfire found an abandoned computer room that didn't seem as dusty or damaged as the rest. The room must have been use recently but not too recently. They search for any documents or digital evidence. They couldn't find anything useful other than some convicts' profiles. All of them dead. "Girls!" Someone yelled. They turn around and saw nightshade panicky enter the room. "What are you doing here? Where's, Roy?". Kory asked. She told them that something came onto her and when she tried to call for help, she couldn't because the radio was dead. Both Zara and Kory try to use the radio, but it didn't work.
The female trio decided to gather as much intel as possible and then go look for their teammates in case they were injured. They hurry up and move as fast as they could looking for anything out there. The stumble into two of their teammates knock out on the floor. They try to wake them up. Kory noticed Bizarro's blue bane marks on his body. "Blue K. Whoever did this must've know us verry well and had time to prepare." Kory asks her younger teammates to help carry the unconscious bodies.
They decided to continue looking for the rest and regroup. UVL made an invisible platform to carry Bane and Bizarro. "Whoa, Lass. You really been getting better with your powers" comments Nightshade surprise for her friend's advance with her suit's powers. She thanks her and comments that she's been looking up green lantern's footage for inspiration. The two continue their small talk while Kory takes the lead and tries to use her leader instincts to not compromise the mission and keep her teammates safe.
Thanks to Kory's powers, they had some light to help them looking out for the mysterious enemy. "Kory! is that you?" asks the voice of non-other than Red Hood. He and red x were carrying their unconscious teammate. He questions Nightshade why she and Roy separated and what happened to the other two unconscious teammates. She explained why she went her own way and that when she went back looking for Roy, he wasn't near. "Ok fine. Just... next time wait up for back up". He couldn't blame the kid for reacting like that.
Now that they were together and that they knew their earpiece doesn't work they decided to stay together and go find Artemis and Keller. Without any form of communication, the need to stick together specially against someone like Waller. It's not the first time they have dealt with her but if what they heard is true then Waller has clearly lost her marbles, if she ever had any. They put Roy on the invisible platform along with the other two. Whatever drug they use, it must be really strong. The blue K justify Bizarro but with the other there was no way around it. They even use Red X's taser and he was still out.
They found a broken door that led to a secret hallway. The place was completely clean and empty. without a trace of footsteps, dust, or anything. This place was completely unuse in any way but somehow kept in perfect condition as if it was brand new. They walk through slowly without getting their guard down. They were about halfway done when they realized the end of the hallway was farther somehow. They continued walking for a while and the same happened. They started to run and same thing happened again. The end kept getting farther.
They got tired quickly of this and started to attack at the hallway. They shot bullets and firebolts trying to end whatever was happening, but nothing works. any damage they made somehow fix itself. After seeing in a few more times, Red Hood tells them he recognizes this type of technology. Red Robin made it for Wayne Manor. Somehow Waller must've found someone smart enough to replicated it or at least emulate it because the hallway starts to somehow turn into a mud like substance.
Somehow the hallway starts to grow arms. "And here I thought Clayface was gross." commented Jason trying not to get touch by those freaky arms. "Guys! HELP!" Nightshade yelled as she started to sink into the walls. "There goes our way out" all of them though. UVL made an invisible dome around them, but unfortunately their unconscious members got left behind.
Everything went dark from there. The four remaining outlaws realize the invisible orb start to move and decide to let it happen. For all they knew, they might end up in front of Waller and hopefully knowing where are their others teammates.
A few minutes later.
Whatever the fuck that shit on the hallway was took them to an empty room that seem to be some sort of conference room or main lab. In there they found all of their teammates tied up in chairs wearing inhibitor collars. All of them were awake. "What took you so long?" Said Artemis clearly annoyed by the situation.
They quickly rush to free them when they stop abruptly by an invisible wall. "Lass, what are you doing?" Question power boy. " it's not me I swear. Look my suit is turn off" she show them the proofs and decide to assume Waller somehow steal or replicate her suits powers as well. "Wait! My parents made this suit. Does that mean that..oh no" even though she's still kind of new to this gig, it wouldn't be too far fetch to assume Waller would do something like what Zara was panicking about. "Calm down, friend. I'm sure your parents are safe." said Kory trying to calm her. She thanked her and suggested that maybe a strong blast from her might be enough to break the invisible force field. She follows her advice and tries to break it.
Kory had to put on more than she though she needed but at the end using a full powered blast did it. "There. now to free or companions." she happily said not even breaking a sweat afterwards. They thank them for free them. "I'm assuming you two found that weird hallway first?" Artemis nods and tells them that the two of them follow some sort of weird creature wearing a lab coat that led them to the weird hallway. "Now that we are all together and awake, did anyone find any clues?". Nobody found anything other than the UV lass and Starfire. She handed them the papers she found. Nothing useful other than the names of some people Oracle could help them gather intel and other locations they could check on later.
"Well, as much as I would like to get the hell out of here, we need to find whatever or whoever led us down here." order Red Hood. The team agreed that whatever that thing was, might also be a clue to figure out what Waller's been up to.
An hour later.
They decide to stay together this time. They when over the entire facility at least twice. They even throw a granade on that freaky hallway and that dang thing still fixed itself like nothing happened. They couldn't find anyone on the facility other than the mysterious creature any now and then. They still couldn't recognize what it was exactly, but it did look like some sort of shadow looking vermin with a lab coat. probably one of Amanda Waller's scientists who had some sort of accident.
"How the hell does that thing keep escaping?" Complained Power boy. "I think there might be more than one" suggested Bane. They agreed that might be possible. For all they knew that thing could be a ghost of some sort.
"How you feeling, B" Red Hood asks Bizarro. "Less worse, red him" He said in his peculiar speaking condition. He still felt weakened but much better than before. "Guys, I have a plan." Nightshade tells them that she thought about how to trap that thing. She would create several portals around that thing trapping it in a loop.
The others approve the plan decided to set up a trap. They would split up in two groups expecting the creature to reach them. They decided that since they already went all over the place and there wasn't anything valuable left, there was no problem with bringing down the place a little. At least enough to force that thing out.
Artemis, Starfire, Bizarro, and power boy would let loose while Ultraviolet lass protected everyone with an invisible doom with nightshade ready to open up the portals. "Are you sure you can open that many portals at ones?" Question Red X not wanting his crush to overwork herself. She tells him she's been practicing and it wasn't a problem.
After some time waiting, the plan began. That little thing was fast. The ambush went perfectly. "Ha! Now, B" Bizarro follow the signal and use his freeze vision. The thing was captured but as soon as they got close to give it a look, they notice this was some sort of robot. As soon as they realize, they break it. "Got anything on the coat?""apparently not. Just some fake credential".
After agreeing this was a waste of time they tell nightshade to get them out of there. She opens a portal but it closes immediately. "Huh?" She tries to do it again but the portals don't even finish creating before disappearing. "Something is wrong, guys". Before anyone could respond power boy added that nightshade is right "I'm trying to see through the building but it's like everything is cover in lead?" He pointed that before they got inside he did the same thing but he could see more.
In that moment they realize that this might be worse than just a setup. Whatever Waller had planned for them here wasn't going to let them leave anytime soon. Red X tries to use his own teleported but it didn't work either. He tries to see if it was broken but it turns out it was something else. "WTF!" He tells them that according to the teleportation device's guiding system, they were too deep underground.
This was starting to look bad for them. The distance thing explains why Jay couldn't teleport out but it didn't explain nightshade's power lacking. "I don't know what's happening? My powers work a moment ago?" She said confused. "I'll tell you what happened" they all look back to see non other than their target, Amanda Waller.
A few of them were about to go at her but she mumbles something and at that moment all of the outlaws that were formerly tied up were now on the ground in pain. "Did you really think I would go to all this trouble and not do more than put you a mere inhibition collar?" It made sense now. She or her freaky robot must've put those nano bombs on their heads or something.
"You are going to stop whatever your doing or else""or else what, child?" She dare him while every standing outlaws was on a fighting stance. "Do you like my new inhibiting nano technology? Courtesy of your kid's old friend. The one you called Iron Riot". She said as the metal liquid robot appears behind her.
"Why are you with her? Wasn't the league helping you, son of a-" "excuse me, mister Red Hood but I don't identify with your concepts of gender. As such, I'm nobody's son." Right, he forgot they were a robot. "My bad, Riot. I'm assuming you were responsible for what we went through in that hallway?" Iron riot inform him he was correct. They explained they helped Waller for the same reason most do. Nanotechnology bombs on every part of their body. Even a machine fear death. You don't hear that every day.
Waller turn off whatever was hurting the team but made it clear she will turn it on again if she feels like. Unknown to them. Those inhibition nano bombs were only a prototype that would stop working after less than an hour from that point. "This is what is going to happen. You are going to turn in your defected Superman clone alongside those two defected offsprings." She orders him as he just tells her to go to hell if she thinks he's going to turn in his kids alongside one of his best friends.
"So that's how it's going to be?" she didn't seem surprised. Even with super speed, none of them notice a really blight flash of light".thoughts go through their minds in a split of a second "a flash granade?" "What is this?" "Where did that come from?".
After that the team try to adjust to the light. Their sight was still blurry. "What did you just do?" Artemis asks before realize Waller and Iron Riot where gone. She was confused for a second then notice everybody from the young team disappeared while they were still at the underground facility. "No" all of them think as they realize what just happened.
Somewhere else (the unknown real HQ of Task force X).
Author's note: what happens next to each character individually happens around the same time.
At Task force x's prisoner cell #58, Power boy wakes up on a quite spacious Jailcell. It was big enough as a police's interrogation room. He was still a little confused by what happened to him. He used his x-ray vision, but the entire room was cover in lead. He tried to leave the room but before he could take a step, the door open.
He couldn't believe what he's seeing. In front of him were the supervillains Major force and count vertigo. "Listen, freak. You can either do this the easy way or the hard way." He said with his military tone. "Where the Fuck am I?" He demanded not carrying for Major Force's threat. Keller was about to force his way out when he starts filling dizzy and unbalance. "Not so far, peasant." mocked the blonde European supervillain. "p-peasant-?" he mumbles trying to look up. "What was that? speak up, boy" he demanded increasing his vertigo effect. he continuous to mumble and Vertigo keep asking him to speak up. "I said-" he stated before grabbing him by the shirt collar. "Peasant? I am the Damned prince of Gotham!"  he yelled while punching him in the face. In that moment, his inner Red Hood took over him without holding back on that punch.
"Hard way? Fine by me" Major Force engaged in the fight. Keller isn't going to have it easy. Major Force has an equal physical strength to a Kryptonian, superior military training and experience. Keller learn that the hard way. "You like that, boy?" he mocks while beating him pretty badly. "Red Sun radiation. A real marvel isn't?" He could have ended the fight faster, but he prefers to toy with him.
"Come on, boy get up! I was told I was going to have a decent punching bag." He didn't even wait for power boy to stand up before delivering more red sun radiation punches and a full-on red sun blast. The blast torn down most of his clothes and mostly depower him.
Using the little strength he had, He stop Major force with his freeze breath. He quickly tried to reach the door, but luck wasn't on his side. "SHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" the supersonic scream blasts the door open. Power boy's super hearing backfire really hard. He passes out from the attack before realizing the one responsible from his hearing pain was the Silver Banshee.
At Task force x's prisoner cell #10, Red x wakes up. He found himself in a place similar to a room at Arkham Asylum. He decides to wait a little bit before trying to leave the room. He's train of though was interrupted by two supervillains entering the room. The fake superhero known as peacemaker and a woman he thinks might be Volcana. Questions would have to wait. "Mind if you take care of him?" she asks him. He simply comments that with him was more than enough and tells her to do it, so he doesn't waste his time. She just calls him an idiot and tells him to do as she says.
While the two of them argue, he tries to teleport away, but his device wasn't working. "Hey you two. Where the hell am I?" "That's classified, freak. The only right you have is to surrender." If they wanted Jay to feel intimidated, they should have sent Deathstroke instead of the riot girl and this oaf.
Peacemaker tried to subdue him, but Jay's slyly superior human strength didn't make it easy. He might not be at the same level as experts like lady shiva, Slade Wilson, or bronze tiger but he sure can take down this himbo. "You know what? Maybe whoever send you should have brought beard hunter instead?" He finishes that line with a kick down the rocks. "Cheater piece of-" then a kick to take off that dump helmet. "Do you really think there is such thing as fair or unfair in a fight?".
"Oh shit" he forgot about Volcana. In that moment the evil woman uses her fire powers. Red x manages to use his cape to protect himself from the fire. "That bitch is going to burn off the oxygen in the room." He said in his head. He takes off his mask. He tries to look for a weapon to win and throws a special x shaped weapon to subdue her and then uses a small ball that prisons her with high density polyurethane foam courtesy of Roy Harper.
"You should have saved that one for me, kid" comments pacemaker as he puts on his helmet. He naturally took this as bravado, but his helmet starts to emit a blinking light. Red x lifts and eyebrow confuse then noticed little sparks coming out of his suit. More exactly, the ones with Zynothium. He quickly tries to take all of them of, but it was too late before the suit exploded.
"BOOM!"
There the three of them were. Unconscious and injured. The explosion freed Volcana but she was still hurt by it. Peacemaker's special helmet got damage, but he survived while red x had it worse. If he didn't have any Lazarus remains on his body, he would be dead by now. Without the Zynothium weapons and the suit, red x is no more.
At Task force x's prisoner cell #2, Bane wakes up. He immediately tries to reach out for the door but as soon as he opens it, he gets hit by a lightning bolt that pushes him inside the room. In front of him where two previous villains his team took down before, Copperhead and livewire. "I was hoping for a rematch with super mama's boy, but orders are orders." The loudmouth broad clearly didn't learn anything from her lost against power boy's superpower spit.
"How's your neck doing, Willis?" He tries to provoke her. The electric villain falls for it and charge into action. She was too fast for him to attack her, so pull a new trick. He pulls out a special lighting rod. He avoids her attacks and manage to stab copperhead with it.
The high teach device quickly redirects all of the electricity towards copperhead's body. All of her electricity including her entire body. "Ey! Get me the hell out o-" she tried to speak but find it hard inside the device. Why did Bane even have that thing with him? When someone has a belt with that many pockets, they need to fill them with whatever they need.
Copperhead hits him with his tail pulling back hitting the wall. The reptile villain takes out the lightning rod not caring to free his teammate. He opens his mouth and moves his tongue to intimidate John. Afterwards they start fighting. Bane had the physical advantage over Sameer Park, but his body modifications help him resist and avoid some of John's hits. Sameer was literally as agile as a snake.
Sameer manages to trap John with his tail and use his advantage to bite him. Bane quickly punches his jaw and use his strength to free himself from his grip. "W-why?" He mumbles as he starts feeling the side effects of the toxin. In the past he made an antidote for this to safe his friend but now who would save him? He probably would have passes out immediately afterwards if not for the venom formula in his system. Copperhead tries to continue fighting probably wanted to give Johnny another bite or use his acid spite. relaying on his will power, he overcomes the villain's toxin and knocks out his opponent bursting the door open. Before he can properly process what's going on, everything went black to him.
At Task force x's prisoner cell #231, Ultraviolet lass decides to stay in the room as soon as she wakes up. She waited a good number of minutes. Nothing happened. She started to worry about her teammates and decided to checkout if her suit still work before reaching into the door. Everything seems fine and turn herself invisible.
She walked out of the room and saw she was in a hallway full of thousands of rooms. Judging by her room number, the size of the hallway, and her math skills, there must be around 300 rooms. She couldn't see any cameras but just be safe, she stayed invisible and tried to not make any sounds.
Out of nowhere, she almost got hit by a bullet. She couldn't believe her eyes. She saw the famous assassin known as deadshot. No way that was him. He was dead. Everyone from her team help John look for him trying to found out if he was actually her friend's dad or not and there, he was standing behind her staring at her. "Turn that thing off, kid. I can see you". Must be something on his mask.
The merc shoot at her repeatedly while she tried to hold her force field together. She made an invisible surface to carry her in the air. She moves as fast as she could trying to escape to escape her aggressor. Luckily for her, he couldn't fly or anything like that so she should be safe but somehow, he manages to stay close enough to her. "Who the hell are you?". She started to question if he was the original one. Last time she checked, he was released before dying but maybe that was a lie? When it comes to Waller, there's no way to know.
The man keeps shooting at her. Zara was no expert, but she could tell that this guy's aim wasn't as good as the original's should be even without her suit's powers, she might still miss his bullets. She manages to make a small invisible spere bursting the man's mask open carefully enough to not made any permanent damage. Her suspicions where true. The man chasing her wasn't Floyd Lawton. His face was too different to be a disguise or the result of plastic surgery.
On one hand, she was happy this man is an impostor so he's probably not as dangerous and on the other hand, this probably means the real Deadshot, who might be the father of her friend John, is really dead. She quickly traps him in an invisible bubble. "Hey! get me out of this thing!" she told the phony to explain himself. The man other than looking angry or worry, he pulls out a freaky smile.
She was confused but then realized, she might just fall into a tramp. She looks behind her, but nothing or no one was there. "Huh?" she quickly turns back to interrogate the man, but then she fells something penetrating her torso. All she couldn't see whatever was responsible. The only thing she could see was a dark figure. Unknown yet to her, Nightshade was the one who attack her.
Later. (After the four young outlaws were defeated and betray by Nightshade).
The four outlaws were tied up in chairs while been gagged and having inhibition collars on. All of them tired and with a strange pain in the back of their heads. All of them angry and confused by the whole situation.
It didn't take long for their questions to be answered. The infamous Amanda Waller, Iron Riot, and their fellow outlaw nightshade. All of them try to talk through the gag with no result. "I know all of you must be a little confused by what's going?" She told them she's going to explain everything they need to know but she wouldn't take off their restraints.
The evil woman explains that more than a year ago she and Lex Luthor made an agreement. She was supposed to have the pair of clones for herself. After all, they were considered fail experiments. She meant to use those two for a much bigger plan. She tells them about all those villains she send after them all of them with the purpose of collecting them.
The woman even have the nerve to thank them for making things easier for her with the situation with Roulette and defeating some villains for her to have for her own. "You two probably wonder why you are here too?" She talks to the other two outlaws. She explained that Johnny's unique venom in his blood and Zara's technology might be to good use for her. Zara managed to freed her mouth and yell to her that the other outlaws, the league, and other heroes would come looking for them. "Oh you think, little lass? No matter what you and those so called heroes think, to the world you and your teammates are nothing other than punks, hooligans, or criminals."
She continued explaining that her mysterious master plan started way before Jay and Keller even existed and once she found about them, she wanted them. She keep up with them every since they escape and now all of them belong to her. Pointing out the bombs implanted on the back of their skulls. Keller tries to speak over the gag. "In case you two are wondering, we don't exactly need kryptonite to hurt you so we just use a stronger bomb and some promethium."
Jay still tried to talk. Waller noticed. "Doesn't really matter, but I'll explain". She explained that nightshade has been her secret agent since the beginning. Her story about been a prodigy child whose experiment got wrong because of bullies is true, but what happens next was a lie. She went after them and had some payback in cold blood. Waller manage to get to her before the outlaws did and convince her to play as a double agent. Jay couldn't believe what he heard. Everything was a lie. No wonder all those weird missions and fights they had.
Waller finally told them that she won't only have them as prisoners but also her employees. If they have a problem with that then their heads would pop. "Now go back to your rooms and be ready for your first mission." Most of the normal people around agreed in their minds that now that Waller didn't have the USA government to finance her or keep an eye on her, she lost any sense of right or wrong. "Goodbye and welcome to the suicide squad".

The Dragonfly Odyssey - Chapter Nine
THE EMBRACE OF CHANGE...
Choice, perceptive to Daze's inner turmoil, had placed their reassuring hand on hers. "Daze…It's alright if you don't have all the answers now.” Daze looked into Choice's understanding eyes, finding a comforting anchor in their presence. The library, with its timeless wisdom, seemed to offer a space for contemplation, a cocoon where decisions could be undone and determined together.
For the first time in her troubled life, she could make her own choice. Daze felt the magnitude of the decision she had to make. As the library whispered it's tales of bravery and introspection, Daze remained undecided, caught between the echoes of her past in Shell Hall and the uncertain future that beckoned. The gentle reassurance of Choice's touch provided solace in a moment suspended between the pages of an unwritten chapter.
In the quiet nook of the library, the spines of ancient books standing as silent witnesses, Daze's uncertainty lingered in the air. Choice, perceptive to her hesitation, sat quietly across from her, their yellow eyes filled with understanding. "Daze," Choice began gently, "I can see you're worried about the future. It's a big decision, I get that." Daze fidgeted with the edge of a book, her eyes flickering with a conflict of doubt and fear. "I've spent my whole life in Shell Hall. It's everything I know. What if it's just one form of confinement traded for another?" Spunk leaned in, his green eyes shimmering with excitement.
"Daze, just imagine! Joining the army means we will escape from Shell Hall, we could see the whole wide world, and come back as the coolest heroes ever. We'll totally change everything for the better!" Daze sighed dramatically, staring at the worn-out pages before her. "But what if it's super tough out there? What if I'm not up for it?" Choice gave her a comforting grin, "Daze, you're super smart! And you know what? We're a dream team, we'll be facing all our adventures together.”
Raising her eyes, Daze met Choice's gentle gaze, a spark of hope in her own. "But what if I decide to team up with Spunk and Barb? I don't want to lose you Choice." Spunk's grin turned mischievous when he heard his name. "No worries! If you stick around, You and Choice can watch over them all. And when I come back, all you guys can totally crash in my mansion, we'll munch on all the biscuits we want, stay up all night, and even create our own stories!" Daze burst into giggles at Spunk's playful vision, the library becoming their secret world for such wonderful dreams.
In this very moment, the three ten-year-olds embarked on a whimsical journey of friendship, writing their own chapters for limitless adventures that awaited them. Daze hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath and looked at her siblings. "You know what, Guys? I've decided. I'm going to join the Empire's forces with Spunk." Spunk's eyes lit up with surprise and joy. "Seriously? That's awesome, Daze! We're going to be the greatest warriors!"
Daze smiled, a dance of determination and excitement on her face. "Yeah! I'll do my very best, big brother!" She exclaimed. Spunk's playful side emerged as he grinned and pulled her into a tight hug. "Bring it in, sis. Bring it on! Rebels, Rain or Robots, We'll face it all together." Daze was taken by surprise by this sudden act of kindness yet she returned his affection with her own act of fondness. In this simple embrace, their unspoken bond as siblings shone through, a connection that went beyond words but was felt in the warmth of shared dreams and the promise of adventures to come.
As Spunk and Daze had decided on their fates, Choice knew there was little they could do to convince Daze to stay at Shell Hall with them. Even their anxious tail knew better than to sway or worry, all they could do was accept the dragonfly's decision and carry on until that day. The day when Barb would return to determine their fates. The echoes of uncertainty haunted their mind, and the unspoken tension foretold a future where each child of this enchanting tale would need to navigate their destinies with boundless determination…
5 Years Later
In the heart of Shell Hall, cradled within the library's comforting embrace, Daze had found her sanctuary—a small office that bore the mark of both leadership and the playful spirit of the orphans. Her humble desk, adorned with the name "Daze" engraved by a mischievous bunny…Spunk. The Dragonfly, positioned at her desk, reviewed the day's schedule meticulously, ensuring a harmonious balance between structured activities and open spaces for personal exploration.
The engraved desk was not just a piece of furniture; it was a symbol of the changes happening within Shell Hall. Adorning the desk were handwritten notes, letters, and drawings from the orphans—a colorful tapestry of thoughts and expressions. Daze took the time to read and respond to each one, fostering a sense of connection and open communication within the Shell Hall community. The desk, once a silent witness, now echoed with the voices of its inhabitants.
The office, bathed in the soft glow of the library's ambient lighting, emanated a quiet energy—a place where ideas blossomed, where concerns found solace, and the resonance of individual voices echoed in harmony. Daze, sitting behind her desk, prepared to navigate the responsibilities of leadership with both compassion and a keen sense of responsibility. As the clock struck five in the morning, signaling the start of a new day, Daze remained committed to her own routine. It was a routine rooted in a deep understanding of the importance of personal discipline and commitment.
The quiet hum of the library served as the backdrop for her morning rituals. In the quiet hours, before the brilliant lights of the empire touched Shell Hall, Daze found solace in a moment of personal reflection. The dimly lit surroundings offered a tranquil atmosphere, allowing her to contemplate the challenges and triumphs of the previous day. A soft glow from the library's ambient lighting spilled into her sanctuary, creating a serene backdrop for introspection.
The engraved desk, a relic from the past, bore witness to the orphans who had come before her. It became a symbolic link between the history of Shell Hall and the transformative journey she was now steering. Daze sat in a contemplative silence, before turning her attention to her favorite book, the Brave Little Robot became a prominent piece of her humble desk, the worn pages serving as a gentle thought of her ever changing fate.
Yet the nuances of leadership weighed on her mind as she considered how to guide her fellow orphans through the labyrinth of adulthood. As the first touch of light began to tint the city, Daze rose from her reflective perch, ready to face the day that awaited her and her charges. Moving towards a small mirror, Daze assessed her appearance with a critical yet compassionate eye.
Her reflection gazed back at her, revealing a young leader who carried both the weight of responsibility and the spark of unwavering determination. With practiced grace, Daze gathered her gray hair and skillfully arranged it into a proper style, a nod to the maturity she had embraced as it was bound with a metallic band. The act of putting her hair up signified a transition, a visual representation of her evolution from childhood to a position of guidance.
With a sense of duty and kindness, she acknowledged the impending challenges of adulthood for herself and her fellow orphans. It was her responsibility to guide them through this frightening and confusing time, armed with both knowledge and the nurturing warmth of her leadership. As the brilliant light and hope of the empire began to breach the confines of Shell Hall, Daze, with a renewed sense of purpose, stepped into the day ahead.
The journey into adulthood awaited, and she stood ready to navigate its twists and turns with compassion, wisdom, and the unwavering belief that Shell Hall could transform into a haven of growth, understanding, and shared experiences. In the quiet expanse of the library, where the gentle hum of knowledge and the scent of aging pages lingered. The soft shuffle of footsteps against the wooden floor boards reached her ears, a sound so familiar yet carrying a subtle caution.
Turning with a curious expression, she spotted a pair of bright yellow eyes peeking out from behind a bookshelf.
A big black cat, fluffy and cautious, stood in the shadows. Daze always wanted an open door for the others, to encourage the orphans to share their concerns, ideas, and dreams. The library, once a realm of enforced study, had become a haven where individual voices were not just heard but respected and nurtured. Daze, with a warm smile, acknowledged the hidden visitor.
"Hello there, Choice~" She infused her greeting with a gentle tone, inviting the black cat to step into the light of the library. The library's ambiance, once stern and unwelcoming, now embraced a spirit of openness and acceptance, inviting even the most cautious souls to share in its newfound warmth. In the quiet corners of the library, where the hushed whispers of books held endless stories, Daze warmly greeted Choice, the big black cat with bright yellow eyes.
Choice, their fluffy tail gently swaying behind them, approached with a cautious expression, as if harboring an unsettling premonition. As they settled in, the air carried a subtle tension. Daze, perceptive to the shifting emotions around her, noticed Choice fiddling with their tail—a telltale sign that something weighed heavily on their mind. "Daze," Choice began, their voice tinged with uncertainty.
"I've been feeling like something bad is about to happen. I can sense it in my poor tail." Daze, met Choice's gaze with a reassuring smile. "Choice, I understand those feelings. Change can be scary, but we've come a long way from the old Shell Hall. We have new opportunities, chances to grow and discover who we truly are."
Choice's eyes reflected a conflict of fear and hope. "But what if it's not a good change? What if we're not ready for whatever's coming?" Daze, determined to dispel the shadows of uncertainty, spoke with gentle conviction. "I believe in us, in Shell Hall. We've faced challenges before, and we've emerged stronger. We're a family now, supporting each other through thick and thin. And if something seems daunting, remember, we face it together. There's so much good ahead, Choice—new friendships, endless possibilities. Let's embrace the unknown and make it our own."
Choice, still cautious but comforted by Daze's words, nodded appreciatively. The library, once a place of rigid routine, had transformed into a sanctuary where fears could be acknowledged and faced with collective strength. As the soft glow of the library's lights touched the quiet corners, Choice approached Daze with gratitude shimmering in their gaze. They held a small, handmade token—a drawing of them together done in dark ink—as a symbol of their immense appreciation.
"Daze, thank you for everything you've done. You've turned this place into somewhere amazing, because you're amazing." Choice expressed, their voice sincere. Daze accepted the token with a warm smile. "It's not just me, Choice. We're all part of this, making Shell Hall a better home together." Choice fiddled with their fluffy tail, a sign of both nervousness and excitement. "Should I wake everyone? Let them know about the day ahead?"
Daze, considering the changes she brought to the forgotten routine, gently shook her head. "Actually, Choice, That won't be necessary. I want everyone to have the chance to get enough rest.” Choice's eyes widened in surprise, and then a smile spread across their face. "That sounds wonderful. I'll let everyone know…After they wake up that is.” Daze nodded, appreciating Choice's understanding. "Exactly. It's all about creating a space where we can support each other. Where each day is a new opportunity…"
Before the fluffy black cat set out to leave. Choice hesitated by the door, a hint of uncertainty in their eyes. Daze, noticing the hesitation, furrowed her brow in concern. "Choice, is everything okay?" The dark cat took a deep breath, as if gathering thier courage, and then stepped back toward Daze. Instead of speaking, they wrapped their arms around the tiny dragonfly with a soft hug. It was a gesture filled with unspoken gratitude, an acknowledgment of the positive changes that had occurred under Daze's guidance.
Daze, initially surprised, soon embraced Choice softly. The library, once a place of enforced study, had now become a haven for shared concerns and hopes. As Choice set her free from the hug and gave a small, appreciative smile, Daze couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and joy. "Thanks, Daze, For Everything" Choice whispered before waving goodbye. As they left the library, Daze stood there, a wave of emotions washing over her – happiness, fulfillment, and the realization that through small gestures and shared moments, they were forging a family that truly felt like her home.
With her arms tucked behind her back, Daze stepped out of the lovely library, the door creaking softly behind her. As she strolled through the once ominous halls of the orphanage, she couldn't help but become amazed at all of the changes. Where there were once harsh depictions of the outside world, now colorful works of art adorned the walls. The orphans had expressed their hopes, dreams, and aspirations through a vibrant tapestry of drawings.
The walls told tales of countless journeys, with sketches of far-off lands, wonderful creatures, and daring escapades. Among the drawings, there were also heartwarming depictions of adoption, symbolizing the longing for connection and family of their very own. Daze stood before the vast cosmos of creativity, The hopes and dreams of the orphans radiated from these brilliant creations, turning the once gloomy corridor into a galaxy of aspirations.
Daze stood before a vibrant gallery, each drawing a testament to the devotion of the orphans. The walls were adorned with colorful depictions of adventures, of the endless possibilities that the future held. As she admired the collective imagination on display, her eyes caught a stark contrast—a demented poster portraying a horrid rebel holding the head of a robot. The dissonance between the hopeful artworks and this ominous creation created a chilling moment.
This poster only stood out because no one was ever bold enough to take it down…Until now. In the heart of the corridor, Daze's eyes widened as a burst of determination erupted within her. She swiftly approached the unsettling depiction, her wings fluttering with purpose. With resolute hands, she tore down the ominous poster, each rip echoing a defiance against the dreadful shadows of the past. Without a moment's hesitation, she crumpled the poster into a tight paper ball, a symbolic act of discarding the oppressive imagery that haunted the corridors of her home.
As the crumpled remnants settled into her palm, Daze felt a weight lift off her shoulders. With a flick of her wrist, she swiftly tossed the crumpled paper over her shoulder, the act of liberation completing with the sound of it hitting the floor. Turning away from the remnants of negativity, Daze soon mended the void in the vast cosmos of creativity by placing the drawing given by the black cat over it. The bold color of the artwork captivated her, each stroke telling a story of their own. As her fingers traced the lines and curves of their characters, she noticed something intriguing – a heart delicately drawn between Choice and herself.

ThunderCats meets SilverHawks
Once upon a time in the mystical land of Third Earth, a group of heroes known as the ThunderCats guarded their beloved planet from evil. Led by the wise and noble Lion-O, they possessed incredible powers and fought valiantly to keep peace and justice. Little did they know that another group of heroes from a distant galaxy called the SilverHawks were about to enter their lives and join forces against the forces of darkness.
It all started when the ThunderCats received a distress signal from a neighboring planet. The source of the signal was none other than the SilverHawks, a team of cybernetically enhanced individuals from the futuristic world of Limbo. With their incredible abilities and powerful armors, the SilverHawks were sworn to protect the galaxy from the menacing Mon*Star and his band of intergalactic criminals.
Curiosity piqued, Lion-O and the ThunderCats set off on their formidable spaceship, the ThunderTank, to investigate the source of the distress signal. As they neared the planet, their ship was suddenly caught in a vortex, transporting them to Limbo, the home of the SilverHawks. Uncertain of their whereabouts, the ThunderCats were met by the SilverHawks, who initially mistook them for Mon*Star's minions due to their feline appearance.
A fierce battle ensued as the ThunderCats and SilverHawks clashed, each team showcasing their incredible powers and superior fighting skills. But it wasn't long before Jaga, the wise and ancient ThunderCat, recognized Quicksilver, the leader of the SilverHawks, as a fellow guardian of justice. Jaga quickly intervened, halting the fight, and explained that they were all on the same side.
With tensions dissolved, Lion-O and Quicksilver realized the strength they possessed by combining their forces against the common enemy, Mon*Star. They devised a plan to bring the ThunderCats' secret weapon, the Sword of Omens, and the SilverHawks' extraordinary flying abilities together in a synchronized attack. With Graviton, the gravitationally empowered member of the SilverHawks, leading the strategy, they set off to defeat Mon*Star and his gang once and for all.
Meanwhile, Mon*Star had gathered his wicked allies, Mumbo Jumbo, Timestopper, Windhammer, and Yes-Man, to strengthen his hold on Limbo and expand his reign of fear. Unbeknownst to them, the ThunderCats and SilverHawks had gathered forces and were prepared to face them head-on.
The final battle took place in the heart of Mon*Star's fortress, a massive stronghold filled with treacherous traps and dark magic. As the ThunderCats and SilverHawks fought fiercely, using their unique abilities and combining their strengths, it became apparent that their unity was the key to victory. Lion-O wielded the Sword of Omens with conviction, calling upon its ancient powers, while Quicksilver and the SilverHawks soared through the air with astonishing speed, delivering precision strikes.
In a climactic moment, Lion-O called upon the Eye of Thundera, unleashing a powerful energy blast that weakened Mon*Star, leaving him vulnerable to defeat. Seeing their leader falter, Mon*Star's minions began to retreat, realizing that they were no match for the combined might of the ThunderCats and SilverHawks.
With Mon*Star defeated and his allies scattered, Lion-O and Quicksilver declared a newfound alliance. They understood that the battle for justice and peace extended beyond their respective planets and would require unity and cooperation from all heroes.
The ThunderCats and SilverHawks bid each other farewell but promised to come to each other's aid whenever needed. As they went their separate ways, they left behind a legacy of teamwork and friendship, inspiring future generations of heroes to put aside their differences and join forces against the forces of darkness.
And so, the tale of the ThunderCats meeting the SilverHawks became a legend in Third Earth and Limbo, forever reminding all that unity and collaboration were the true powers that could overcome any evil.

The Bitter End: Ch. 1
Location: Nila's office, Vallusia, Evaland Empire.
Seven days later.
Nila never rested, it seemed. Ever since she took charge as Empress of Evaland, she had a world to help save, civilization to defend, armies to control, and now the convicts of her revolutionary courts. Everyday, Nat handed her a list of former Evaland officials who were corrupt to the core, charged and convicted by the new court system and awaiting final judgement. Usually the list would be a single page of about forty individuals, sometimes less, seldom more. Their names, their former titles, and their  convictions were listed, and Nila reviewed them personally, the same as she did years beforehand in Jakabar.
Over some objections, most of the convicted would be executed. She didn't want them to ever have a shot at abusing or usurping their power again, and was eager to make examples of them. Sometimes she would comment on the individual and cross out their name from the list, which often required retrial. Then Nila would hand the list back to Nat and she would have her staff send out the final judgement to the courts.
At heart, Nila never ceased to be a young revolutionary.
"The list, Nat." Nila announced to the Prime Secretary who had her new desk across from Nila's near the doorway.
"Yes, ma'am." Nila replied as she got up from her seat and approached the desk to take the folder from Nila's hand. "More executions, I presume?"
"Yes." Nila answered, removing her pipe from her mouth. "You don't like it?"
Nat took the folder from Nila containing the list of final judgements, shifted her gaze down to the pen holder on Nila's desk, and answered her rather plainly. "I think it hardly matters how I feel about it."
"What would have done, Nat?" Nila now questioned her, leaning over her desk. "Hmm?"
Nat hesitated for a moment and then looked at Nila square in the eyes. "I don't know, ma'am."
"Would you have these bastards run free? Kept locked behind bars? Perhaps you prefer they miniaturized and left to fend for themselves against the fauna of Evaland?" Nila now suggested.
"I don't know." Nat replied, looking away.
"You don't know?" Nila echoed her sentiment before she sat back in her leather chair.
Nat shook her head, but she didn't like that Nila was having the courts execute upwards of 90% of the corrupt former officials of the former Union of Evaland. She probably did prefer a shrinking sentence.
"A little discussion." Nila said as she then stood up and walked slowly around her desk and looked at Nat who kept her head held low, now Nila nodded and continued to speak. "Let us say you have just concluded a successful revolution in your home country. I know that would never happen, but let us say it. You have plans, you have ideas, you want to see justice for your people. But there are those you know don't. Who you know hates your people. They look down at them over the nose, they spit on them." Nila said, pretending to spit on the floor as she paced the floor behind Nat and took frequent puffs from her pipe. "Nat, these people want to take your people back to the way it was. They want to torment them, abuse them, and kill them."
Nat was quiet.
"Nat, they have supporters. Do you want them to rise again? Do you let them take back the pockets of your country and let them win over time?" Nila questioned her, pushing her finger into Nat's large chest as though it were a pistol, hovering a foot above her imposingly.
"Err..." Nat mumbled.
"Nat..." Nila said, poking her harder.
Still the little Secretary wasn't sure what to say. She felt deeply conflicted even though the majority of her team felt it was right to rid the impoverished nation of those who robbed it for centuries. "Why can't we just shrink 'em?" She asked her.
"We have a saying in Jakabar, kid. Sometimes a dead martyr is better than a live one." Nila replied, chuckling and returning to her seat after patting Nat on her shoulder. "It is not possible to have a revolution without an iron fist to crush the old system."
Nat nodded and acknowledged the lesson she was given. "I understand that I may not be right. I don't profess to have the solution to everything."
"Nobody does and nobody ever will." Nila suggested, then she leaned forward and changed the subject. "Now where the hell are my two assets?"
Nat perked up and appeared to snap out of a hypnotic funk. "Oh! Waiting outside, shall I bring them in?" She asked.
"Please do." Nila responded.
Nat bowed and stepped away to the huge double doors which she opened. From the doorway, she invited two people to enter. "Nila will see you now."
Nila heard the familiar noise of boots and heels clacking and saluted being given to Nat, which was required of all Size Devils in formal settings, for Nat was Nila's secretary and deserved the respect she was according to protocol. Nila had to relight her pipe with a match from her desk and did as two new Size Devils entered her dark office in shining brand new white suits. The two girls saluted Nila and Nila waved at them, urging them to take a seat across from her behind the smoky cloud. "Girls! Sit down! Sit down!"
Alicia Norse and Draga Noff were the newest members of the Size Devils unit. They had come to receive their first instructions as bearers of the skull and arrows emblem. Nat closed the door and returned to her desk to continue her work. Nila tossed her match in a metal bin on the floor and produced another large cloud of smoke from her lit pipe and initiated the briefing. "My two newest shrinking women, welcome."
"We are eager to hear what you have to say." Draga said.
"Yes, I'll bet." Nila replied as she handed each girl a manilla folder with a red privacy seal that had to be broken with their own hands, otherwise preventing the folders from being opened. "Hamilton went silent this morning at 734 hours, just like that."
"Communications were severed?" Asked Alicia.
"That's what I want you girls to investigate." Nila replied, allowing them to see the files in the folders. "I'm afraid the situation will get hairy after that. At dawn, locals in the nearby town Kofray reported sightings of people dressed in the same blue uniforms, goose-stepping through the town and terrorizing people. That's where the main wireless station is located."
"Like soldiers?" Asked Draga.
"We believe so. Page four has a memo from Shamid, she's probably correct in the suspicion that these are the so-called Doll People. People who were originally reduced in size and transformed into mindless servants of the Doll Maker, or so we suspect." Nila answered.
Alicia shut her folder and ruminated openly with the Empress. "Why are they emerging just now? I remember the Doll People from when I was a prisoner, and they were small when I encountered them. However, they were being controlled by a shrunken girl named Lily Cross."
"I know of the woman. So she's still around, I see." Nila admitted and then stood up. "Nat, Izzy please."
"Yes, ma'am." Nat answered as she stood up and exited the office.
A few seconds later, Nila approached the corner of her desk where the windows were and peered out into the new  night lights of the city's inner wall. "I used to employ that Lily. Through the power of an unseen force, I granted her the ability to speak with inanimate objects, and I of course shrunk her down as she was considerably difficult to control."
Alicia and Draga looked at one another as Nila sighed and watched guards patrolling the outer perimeter.
"I'm sending you ladies to Kofray with Kyrax, she'll be leading you on your first mission." Said Nila.
"Oh, but I think we are capable of doing this, if you don't mind." Alicia pleaded.
"Out of the question. I've already briefed Lynxie, and another thing, so long as Nirator is on the loose, I cannot afford to expend assets, especially younger ones. Is that understood?" Nila replied just as Nat returned with Jodak following her inside. "Ah, Izzy."
"Evening." Jodak greeted Nila while she came to the desk holding two large stainless steel lock boxes, and greeted the new girls thereafter. "It's nice to see you two again... You haven't been brainwashed by Shamid, have you?"
Nila cleared her throat in an effort to get Jodak to move along.
"Right, here you go, Alicia... Draga..." Jodak said handing the cases to the new girls.
"Your brand new Micrazors." Jodak announced, officially overseeing the new girls getting their weapons.
Alicia and Draga were elated to have the weapon of Size Devils to themselves now. They unlocked the boxes and produced their shining glossy white ray guns, standard issue for the Size Devils, an invaluable tool on the field. Only this time, they appeared to be different from the ones used in training. Seeing the surprised looks they wore, Nila clarified the change. "Fourth generation, you two are the first to officially receive them. Go on, give them the straight skinny."
"Right." Jodak answered as she took out her own fourth generation Micrazor from her cleavage, which she had yet to assign to herself. "As she said, this is the newest model. There have been a few ergonomic enhancements, we find that the bigger your boobs get, the more we are in dire need for rounded edges."
"I agree, the contours are not as angular they once were." Draga agreed as she peered over the gun in amazement.
"The two major improvements that are incorporated are as follows: The bottom of the barrel is no longer solid weight for recoil, it's been fitted with twin micro barrels, each with a specific purpose. On the screen at the back end you now have the option for grapple and stun gun. Selected, each mode makes use of a different barrel. You'll have sixteen plasma pitons for grapple hooks, capable of extending our two sixty times your size, and a near-limitless supply of Stinger plasma needles that stun targets, thanks to an added cell in the cartridge." Said Jodak.
"A Size gun that triples as a stun gun and a grapple gun." Draga amused herself while she cycled the touch screen on her gun.
"And another thing, should you find yourselves in danger under water, the pitons have been designed to act as miniature harpoons. Heh! A rather genius idea from Narbili, I might add!" Said Jodak.
"Very well, Quartermaster, that is all." Nila dismissed Jodak who showed herself out of the office.
Jodak was halfway out of the office when Nila continued talking to the girls. "Draga, I understand that Tarten and Dr. Silver has given you the shot."
"They have." Draga responded.
"Shot?" Alicia murmured.
"Draga now has Other Way Out in her body, only this one has been altered specifically for her use. Now when she bites, she might infect her prey with it, causing them to reduce in size." Nila explained while Draga smiled and showed her sharp canines to Alicia.
"Eek... A shrinking vampire bite." Alicia groaned.
"She's also being taught how to use her dark magic to change size. Sheri and Tarten have been working with her on that." Nila continued. "In any case, I want you two to go there and investigate the incident. Should you come into contact with any resistance, then you'll need to neutralize them at one. Are there any questions?"
"No, madame." Draga responded, as did Alicia, both rising from their seats with guns and boxes in their hands.
"I want you to report to the support center and obtain your new radios from them, I've had Shamid instruct Kangi to provide them." Nila commanded before the new girls bowed and stepped out, bowing to Nat as they walked by her desk.
"Godspeed, ladies." Nila said.
