INTRODUCTION:
In recent days, I’ve found myself in a perpetual state of moral dilemma. Whether I am speaking with my closest friend or meeting a complete stranger, the same persistent thought lingers in the back of my mind: What if they knew?
Of course, any matter of sexuality are deeply personal, and one could reasonably argue that it should make little difference whether others are aware of my particular inclinations. I would agree with this if it wasn’t for the prevalent ethical ambiguity raised in this specific subject of activity. Anything even remotely related to zoophilia almost immediately raises questions, and I’ve seen—and experienced firsthand—the assumptions drawn whenever an inkling of unconventional behavior is detected. That, more than anything else, is the source of my anxiety.
