“Hey, dear! I’m home!” Sam opened the door to his shared apartment with his girlfriend, Jessie. As he stepped in, he heard no response. “Um...Jess?” Still no response. “Jess!” Sam dropped his stuff and slammed the door. He frantically looked their apartment. He checked everywhere back their bedroom. He barged in. Jessie had a bedsheet covering her breasts.
“S-Sammy! You’re here!” She forced a smile. Sam could see that it wasn’t genuine. His eyes focused on a human shaped lump in his spot. He pulled the curtain back to reveal another man.
“What...is...this?” Sam said slowly.
“It’s not what- Well you see-“ Jessie had no response.
“You had a boyfriend?” The strange man in Sam’s spot on the bed said. He climbed out of bed and started getting dressed. “Oh, I know why you didn’t say anything, you gold digger!” He finished getting dressed, and turned to Sam. “Sorry, bud. I thought she was single.” Sam nodded.
