Lars' day offLars had been trapped in his clear glass prison for over a month before he finally escaped.
To be honest, Lars was either one of the least intelligent Daleks or he wasn't very wise or possibly the fatal lack of creativity all Daleks possess limits their reasoning and problem solving skills, because he had not thought to knock the jar onto the floor. To be honest he hadn't thought of this the day he escaped, and the fact that this had occured was a complete accident, he had tried to change the channel to a program other than the awful children's show he was forced to watch due to the fact that Allie had accidentally left it on the wrong channel, and his attempts to knock the remote and change channels had resulted in the cheap glass jar that had once contained generic walmart brand pickles had shattered into a million pieces on the floor.
