I feel like my art has kinda stalled recently very little improvement this year and it sucks, so this journal is a place for you to critique my art and give me some helpful insight. What I am looking here is for you to point some low points that I need to fix, like anatomy, shading, backgrounds, etc. and if you can please either link a tutorial or explain how I can improve it, I can't just improve from a person just saying it (well actually yes, but you know what I mean) Go ahead :3

Hmmm.... I find a great way to improve is to experiment with style, medium (or brushes and tools), and technique, going out of your comfort zone. You have certainly improved in your art, especially the backgrounds though! Looking at your art you could work on shading? Most of your shading is quite fussy, you might try mixing it with cell shading. I don't have any tutorials I can think of at the moment, but if I do!

Something I never do much as it is very hard with birds, foreshortening, would add interest to your art.

thanks for the advice, i'll definitely start experimenting with style especially with shading XD I do agree with you about that

also foreshortening I want to do good so bad i'm trying so hard hopefully I can one day make a half decent one using that technique

You really done good with your improvements (backgrounds, poses, atmosphere, perspective, lighting, shading, expressions and etc) though I'm sure adding some bits of feathers could help (I use some fur or those brushes on DA that you can find) If look at my improved art you'll notice a few feathers or fur here and there:
