The wandering man, Jacobin Du'Alos, travels deep into the marshlands of Lraarl. There he finds the simple and kindly groogs and their shepherd, Mother Susseek. The large scaled reptile is feared by many, her massive body wrapped tightly around a tree... though many fear what they do not know... and the large snake is truly not such a fearsome beast... After spending two days in the company of the groogs, Jacobin approaches the shepherd...
