The sun was disappearing behind the distant mountains that stood proudly, beyond the boundaries of the Centre.
“They’re late.” Charlie said, sitting beside his father, his tone impatient.
“No, they’re not” Straight No Chaser sighed.
“We should have started by now.”
SNC knew the dire was only complaining because he wanted the party to start. “Why don’t you listen to your music?”
“I already am.” Charlie huffed.
SNC looked up at his massive son. The dire almost dwarfed him now. It was an odd feeling. Despite his size, there was no mistaking him for being anything other than one of his many offspring. Charlie had inherited his melanism along with most of his other markings and his love for music, although that was true of most of his pups.
“Hey! SNC!”
The yeti pulled himself from his musings, looking up at the sound of approaching paws. They’d all come together.
The speaker was a seal natural mane Tokota he knew was Splodge. They’d shared some adventures together before. Either side of him

Tokology Animal Centre of Observation
You find yourself on the far side of the Superiors, wandering down a partially overgrown, somewhere amongst the Aspen forest. A rustic-looking building looms in front of you. Before you can get any nearer, a creature hurries towards you, it's gait appearing somewhat awkward. It stops in front of you, it's yellow eyes blink once, twice. It's covered in feathers of a dark plumage, apart from round the eyes and belly, where they're almost white. "Welcome, welcome!" It's beak clicks as it speaks and it bobs enthusiastically, the glasses perched above his beak don't slip as you expected. "I knew you'd find us! If you'll follow me and I'll show you round." The creature doesn't wait for a reply and scurries back towards the building. Slightly bemused by this strange being, you decide to follow after it. You pass a lopsided wooden sign with something scrawled on it in a language you can't read. A slight twang of fear begins to creep in and you hope you haven't made a terrible mistake.
