Before I realized it, I was home in December for three weeks and back to the United States in mid-January. Haven't consciously made an effort to put time aside for anything other than work, unfortunately. On my agenda are: learning rock-climbing, learning the guitar, and getting to grips with the Wacom. Also making a conscious effort to be a part of the DA community and forum, perhaps try some contests.

I feel like I've got a feel for the pencil on paper again. Now I want to learn how to use the airbrush / paintbrush with my Wacom tablet. Hopefully this will give me an insight into coloring and painting. Anyone with tips please feel free to drop me a line!

I used to sketch when I was much younger than I am now. Somewhere along the journey of pursuing an education I lost touch with my hobby. It gradually faded into nonexistence.Now I'm returning to sketching, using a simple pencil on paper to start with, hoping that I can magically muster some of the skills I had.My undergraduate days had a strong Anime influence, so I've decided to start learning to draw anime. After looking around the web of good tutorials, I've zeroed in on Polykarbon and I must admit, things look interesting.I'm a little rusty on proportions and pose, but as they say, "Practice makes perfect", right?
