Purple Flowers Number 3
One of my goals is to move my photography more into photo art.  I made this from a photo I took this past summer.

Purple Flowers 2
I took this photo while out for a walk in late spring of 2018.

Purple Flowers
I'm not really sure of the name, so I'll just call them purple flowers.  I took this photo while out for a walk at the end of May, 2018.

Daisies
I love Daisies, they always put me in a cheerful mood.  I took this photo on the campus of Western Michigan University on a bright summer day.

Bath Time
I took this photo during a walk in May 2018, as I came upon a Robin enjoying its bath.

Not too long ago I found the group Lake Street Dive and lead singer Rachel Price on YouTube and I can't get enough.  I tried to embed this video and couldn't figure out how to do it, so here is the link:

Lake Street Dive in the Studio: Rachael Price Sings "What I'm Doing Here" In One Complete Take - YouTube

If anyone could give this computer challenged senior citizen some tips on embedding video on DA, it would be greatly appreciated.
  • Listening to: Lake Street Dive
  • Reading: My annual rereading of the Harry Potter books
  • Watching: The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
  • Eating: Turkey & Muenster Cheese on Sourdough Bread
  • Drinking: Stewart's Root Beer
1954 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible
In 1954, Eisenhower was the U.S President, Churchill was Prime Minister in the U.K and Tolkien's "Fellowship of the Ring" was published.  The top box office movie in the U.S. was Hitchcock's "Rear Window" and The Chordettes "Mr. Sandman" was the top selling record.  Marilyn Monroe married N.Y. Yankee baseball player Joe Dimaggio and I turned four.

I took this photo at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan.

Mister Sandman, bring me a dream .......

Dance! Dance! Dance!
I thought I would take another shot at a photomanipulation.  This is still pretty simple, but I did use more objects than my last one.

The stock model is by ArtReferenceSource:  Stock: April in Roaring 20's Style Flapper Dress by ArtReferenceSource

The musical notes I made from brushes I purchased on Renderosity.

The background and the rest of the objects, I made from images I found on Pixabay.

I will be off DA for a few days due to some time consuming personal business.  Nothing serious, just some bureaucratic folderol that I have to take care of.  Will be back on DA by Sunday.
Minions Bow Down
Minions bow down, except for the one in the lower right hand corner and I had him down as a troublemaker right from the start.

1932 Pierce-Arrow
I photographed this 1932 Pierce-Arrow in the Car Club of America barn at the Gilmore Car Museum.  Based in Buffalo, New York the Pierce-Arrow company produced some of the world's most beautiful and luxurious cars from 1901 to 1938.  The first official U.S. presidential car was a Pierce-Arrow in 1909.  They were the only luxury car company not to produce a lower priced car during the Great Depression and without that cash flow went bankrupt in 1938.

Wildflower Goose
I took this photo on a lovely Michigan summer day, while driving by and noticing a flock of Canadian Geese amongst wildflowers.  I just had to stop and get some shots.

October Flowers 2
I took this photo in the garden of the Kalamazoo Nature Center in late October of this year.

Queen Anne Summer
Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota), is a non native wildflower that grows in abundance where I live (Michigan).  It is classified by the state as a restricted, noxious weed.

Note:  Queen Anne's Lace is classified as a restricted, noxious weed by the state of Michigan not because it is toxic, but because as a non native species, it crowds out native species.  Because of its classification, its seed can not be distributed and the plant can be removed without any restrictions, unlike protected native wildflowers.
