Battle of the Sexes pt4. Midnight Star Arrives!

Cursing under his breath Mach-6 ran as fast as he could. He knew that going to the fight would just result in the villains gaining another pawn to use against his friends, the only thing he could do is get a hold of the new recruits as fast as possible and hope they could stand a chance against the threat. First stop San Diego, California home of the superheroine named Midnight Star.

Flying high over her city, Rose Kappel still has trouble controlling her giddiness. It's only been about a year since her mutant powers to generate and control a mysterious energy source first appeared. Since that day she put on a costume and decided to help people and has fought supervillains and helped end the corruption that was infused within the San Diego government. Heck she even got an invite to join The Paragons and would begin training with them starting next week. Nothing could get her down.

Suddenly she hears a voice from below calling to her. Hey! Star! Yo, down here kid! Rose landed gently next to Mach-6. Mach! she gave him a hug, what brings you to San Diego? Don't tell me I'm late, I thought training was next week. Not at all Star, but it looks like we're going to have to give you ladies a trial by fire, a situation has come up and we're going to need to activate you now.

Mach handed Star a device, this is a locator, it's tuned to Red Micron, I sending you to take him since your powers are probably the best to take him down without hurting him. Once you capture him we need to take him to Battle Medic so he can be cured of whatever it is that is allowing Lovespell to control him. Mach -6 waves goodbye and wishes her well, I need to head out and grab the other two, if you need any help just use this communicator, Welcome to the Paragons Midnight Star.

As he sped away Rose looked at the locator and and began flying to his location. Looks like he stopped in Chicago, Illinois I better book it before something bad happens.

The Chicago police department was in disarray by the time Midnight Star got there, The police were running out scared out of their wits. Star stopped one of the men running and asked what was going on. They are dropping dead! one after the other I've got to get out of here! He pushed his way past the young heroine and kept running. Star entered the station, a few of the braver officers were still inside trying to cordon off the area and figure out what was going on. Star burst in to see a female officer choking and gasping for air, as she collapsed a tiny figure burst out of her mouth and began rushing towards the door.

Not so fast Micron! Star projected a beam of energy from her hands that took the form of a butterfly net. Micron was scooped up but then shrank even smaller and went through the tiny holes in the net. almost too small to see now she put up an energy barrier over the door. Ok Micron, lets see what you can do about that. The tiny brainwashed hero turned and lunged at Star. She formed a tubberware-like container construct and trapped him in it.

Well that was easy, time to get you to Battle Medic and see what he can do for you, She surveyed the room and noticed the bodies of three female police officers. Lovespell is going to pay for what she did, to you and those people. I'll make sure of it.

They head out to the Dam looking to end this once and for all.

Always great at showing emotions I love the comical spin he took with these two and their fight.
