This is my first engine with real bricks. It's not Thomas related in any kind (other than this engine class is behind Percy in this picture… :) )
It's a KKSTB 310 or a 310 class engine of the Imperial Royal Austrian State Railway.
Right now I'm struggling with the valve gear but other than that the engine is 99% complete.

Awesome engine!  I would love to see the real thing, and I'm glad to see a Lego model of it too.

Oh yes, I'd like to see her in real too some time. The model is currently undergoing a major overhaul to improve it ;)

When I saw the little thumbnail down in the corner I thought the crossing was a pair of wings :P

Stunning creation and I love the amount of detail you put into the engine and its surroundings, really brings it to life :)

Hahaha, thanks for your feedback!

So I have to thank the crossing you came to this page? Hahaha :D
I'm currently rebuilding the engine though! I put a small motor in the engine (without visual changes) and the tender doesn't exist like this anymore. I haven't come around building a new tender as a result of lack of time. Also it's quite complex to reproduce and I'm not sure how I'll implement all the details. But stay tuned for a revision! Btw I'm also building some other Austrian engines, not steam though :)

I love these big 2-6-4s, Golsdorf is a genius.
ScotNick's avatar
Yes, Gölsdorf was a genius! I really like the wheel arrangement, so underrated ;)

I wish there were more Adriatics with tenders. And I don't mean using a Std. 4MT to move an old tender around.
ScotNick's avatar
Haha, yes! There aren't many out there

I think there was a Tasmanian one.
