I love it, but the track info (artist, title ecc.) font is super big on my side? ( Is there any way to fix it to make it smaller?

I'm new to AIMP and thrilled to find this skin. Only one question so far, I cannot find a way to access recording. There doesn't seem to be a button in this skin, or an entry in the AIMP menu. I tried setting up a hotkey, but it didn't work. Am I missing something? Thanks for a great skin.

Nevermind...I got the hotkey working. Thanks again for lovely skin.

Is it possible to remove the horizontal scroll bar for the music library? Found it quite annoying how there just empty space between the albums cover arts and the scroll bar when you enlarge the window and when I tried to move the track list over to minimize the gap, it creates the horizontal scroll bar. Not sure if I explained it well or not but hope you can help. Thanks for the skin btw~

Yes, I see what you mean. It's an odd way of AIMP displaying that specific library view (Album grid). It has nothing to do with the skin really.

Basically, you need to uncheck all the header columns in that library view. To do this, you have to have "Table +" shown. Click the "Table" text under "Library" to switch between the normal and + options. This will toggle the header bar that shows the header columns. You then right click the header bar and uncheck all the column options (Like so: This way the library width isn't restricted to the specific width of the header columns. This won't affect any other library views, only the view you are currently looking at (album grid in your case).

I hope this helped.

Thanks, more or less fixed the problem visually for me. Although it made me realized that the bottom two search bars of the music library and track list looks aligned but the color or outline differs so it feels off, not sure if its the skin or just AIMP. Not really a big of a deal but wondering if there's a solution. Thanks for everything~

It looks that way because of the way Windows renders the font. I double checked the skin to see if there are different colors used, but they are the exact same across all the quick search bars.

A way to fix this would be to adjust Cleartype so text gets rendered better on your screen. Another way would be by using a font rasterizer like MacType (It's what I use with the LCD profile).

MacType has created system instabilities for me in the past though. This can go from not showing any text anywhere, not showing subtitles in video players, to not being able to boot Windows. If you run into problems with anything, disable Mactype first and see if it fixes it. That's my warning about MacType.

Lately, the development of MacType has been picking up and I haven't had any major issues with the latest versions, so I guess it's pretty safe to use now. Only thing I had to do lately is disabling Mactype for my video player as it wouldn't show the subtitles. This depends on your video player and subtitle renderer, so your mileage may vary.

Awesome skin but my explorer.exe is going crazy after changing skin settings. Invisible context menus, ghosting, anything that involves right click mouse button creates all kinds of weird behavior.
To fix it I need to log out or restart the system.
This issue was present also in previous Ladient skin versions. Maybe it's a Aimp thing?
I'm using Windows 10 1709 (Fall Creators Update).

It's not an AIMP thing as AIMP has no effect on your system. It's a Penumbra 10 and/or theme patcher problem. I assume you are using Penumbra 10, correct?

The problem about the weird right-click behavior is known, but I can't figure out what is causing it. Have you had similar problems with other third party Windows themes?

For the new Fall Creators Update, I will rebase Penumbra 10 on the newest aero theme and hope that it will fix the problem.

Edit: You don't have to log out or restart your system to fix the problem. You can just switch back to the Windows theme and back to Penumbra 10 to (temporarily) fix the problem.

It seems that the download link is broken. Could you perhaps reupload it? I love your work, by the way!

DeviantArt is the one that hosts the files and occasionally people have problems with the download. If it doesn't work at the moment, try again later. It works fine for me right now.

It's one of the three library views. To cycle between the different views, click the button in the bottom right of the library table. (

Keep in mind that "Library", "Table" and "Bottom Bar" need to be active. (

Hi, great skin! And one question: is there a way to change the highlight colors of the skin? I would want to change the "red" to "blue" or something along these line.
Thanks for the skin!

Yes, there is. Click on the player, press CTRL + P, click on "Skin" (under "Interface") and change the skin hue and saturation sliders under the skin selection element. (

I've gone through at least 15 - 20 + skins trying to find the one that works for me. For each one, there was some dealbreaker for me, because I'm very picky when it comes to customization. This is the only skin that satisfies my need for the perfect blend of beauty, functionality, and customization. I also love how the customization is so powerful that you can make your skin just like many of the other skins for AIMP! :) I just have one problem. While messing around with my settings, my "Main" somehow got locked so I can't change it back to Big Player, which I really like. Can you help me fix that? Some of the settings and options are unclear in this skin and it has led to a lot of confusion as I figure it out and get my setup down.

The Main section gets locked when you enable the Library section. To unlock it, simply disable the Library section. The same is true the other way around. If you Enable the Big Album mode, the Library gets locked.

I made the skin this way because the Big Album mode will limit the width of the player to 400 pixels, which is not the width you would like to use the library with. The width restriction on the Big Album mode is to prevent the elements (like the album art and spectrum) from stretching and making that part of the skin look broken. It's simply not designed to work with more than 400 horizontal pixels.

I agree that not all the buttons are clear on what they do, but I feel like experimenting with it is part of the beauty of it. I could write a bunch of documentation on it, but I don't think many people would read it.

What I have already done so far is highlighting buttons/sections when you hover over the corresponding element in the player. For example, if you hover over the album in the Main section, it will highlight the Album and Shape button in the Ladient Option window. This is to show the user which button(s) effect which element in the player. I did notice that not every active element has this highlight, so I will fix this in the next update.

What I can also do in the next update is making sure that every button has a hint text. This is the text that will show when you hover over a certain element or button for a couple of seconds. I hope that these small bits of text will help the user in understanding what all the buttons and options do. Do you think these above-mentioned changes will resolve your confusion towards certain settings and options?
