Symphony of Sorrows

Hidden within my joyous laughter
is a lonesome cry raining into unheard abyss

Shadowed by my smiling, blue eyes
is an unrelenting pain and agony unseen

Caged behind my unyielding chest
is my tortured heart forever breaking

Encased beneath the confines of my head
is an afflicted mind on the brink of insanity

Concealed under the pretense happiness
is the lonely little girl you will never meet

Stretching far into the heavens, past all the stars
Reaching into depths of an unfathomable void
Above the gods, beyond the aperture time and space
Coursing deep inside an impenetrable wound
Lies a broken, desolate soul wreathing in anguish
Yearning with a dire passion to be loved
