Solar-class scout pinnace

The Solar-class pinnace was initially developed by the Ceti Imperium as a scout and survey vessel, but has become popular amongst all the human-predominant civilizations occupying the Cygnus-Orion Spur, both as a naval asset and as a civilian workhorse.

Solar-class pinnaces of the Solarian Navy are assigned exclusively to the Office of Stellar Cartography and Planetary Surveying.  They differ from their Ceti and Nova Romanum Imperium counterparts by utilizing antimatter-catalyzed fusion torches and mounting three light laser cannons - two on the wing tips, the third in a spinal turret on the dorsal.  The berthing space between the cockpit and main cabin is also armored and designed to act as a lifepod in the event of an emergency.
