Near the Tohvun Star System

The ship’s intercom sounded throughout the ship.  “Yellow alert!  Captain to the bridge.  Yellow alert!”

Maehra rolled over, looked at the clock by her bed and cursed softly.  “Bridge, this is the captain.  What’s going on?”

“Sir, the Feynman has detected a large formation of ships breaching the Demilitarized Zone.”

“Heading?”

“Captain Khanmar wasn’t certain since they were detected several light-days out.  His science team’s best guess would be the Solarion star system and the colony on Solarion Four.”

“Any other Starfleet vessels in the vicinity?”

“Negative, Captain.”

Maehra cursed softly again.  “I’m on my way up.”
