I don’t usually have a problem with the DA mods. When I’ve had something removed from my gallery, I usually understand why. Hiding something rude in an animated gif, for example. Yes, that obviously earns a slap on the wrist.
However, the removal of a recent piece irritates me a little. I didn’t actually realise it when drawing the image (I was working from someone else’s model), but it was Gaz from Invader Zim, which I’ve never watched. Said character, in the cartoon, was a kid. The version that I drew was a very curvy, older incarnation, but it was removed on the grounds that it showed an underage character in a sexual situation (I’m not sure how pulling a shirt on is a “sexual situation”).
DA have rejected my dispute to the claim, saying they could “not find enough information detailing an appropriate age of the character”.
