I've come to the realization that I greatly enjoy taking photographs of flowers. I am fully aware that many people do and that this is very redundant and overdone (like sunset photography), but I still get a great deal of pleasure out of it.
So I figure that since it's my hobby I get to do whatever the hell I want and take photos of whatever the hell I want. I used to pander to what I knew my boyfriend liked, or what people on dA like but I honestly do not care anymore. About a week and a half ago, we caved and bought an Xbox 360. Graphics are freakishly off the wall and we've rented Bioshock, which has scared the pants off me.

I'm hoping to be able to afford a Canon digital camera, more specifically Canon Powershot S3 IS. However, I know absolutely nothing about digital cameras and I worry that once I get a digital, I won't use my lovely Pentax *ist anymore, which I spent a great deal of money and tears on.
Gah! I know digital is the way to go, it's cheaper and easier, no film/developing to worry about, but I just looooooove film. I love it.
I have this same problem with the Xbox 360. I want one, but I don't want the Xbox I've got to become obsolete. My boyfriend brought up a good point, we keep one
