The Bible by Unknown (though my copy seems to attribute the text to a fellow called King James - surely a pseudonym?) SPOILER ALERT I cant really summarise the plot of The Bible for you, without taking up too much space. Put simply, this novel redefines the word epic.It begins with no less than the creation of the planet and, indeed, the Universe. From there, it chronicles the beginnings of humanity, its many falls from grace and throws in many complex plots Egyptian slavery, global floods and many more. After The Old Testament, the second book (rather boringly called The New Testament) loses the wide scope and focus of its pred...
HOLY BAT-SPOILERS! Batman Begins was highly acclaimed by many critics, fans and geeks with nothing better to do but moan about films on the Internet. It ended with a tantalising teaser: the Joker had struck. Well, well, well...were we going to see another screen portrayal of the Joker? Three years later and we have been answered. Not just answered, but gifted with possibly one of the greatest screen villains you've ever seen. Now, I don't need to say how wonderful Heath Ledger's Joker is. There are no reviews which don't mention it; some even think it's Oscar-worthy. But I will tell you what I think, regardless. It is the best Joker there ...

Her story - a chip-pan fire that broke out of control - was deemed "a ludicrous cover-up" by her insurance company, who refused to pay her. After Pontypandy's fire service arrived to put out the café's flames, Station Officer Basil Steele noted it was the third time that Ridoli's had burnt down this year. T...
I clicked on one of my many bookmarks,
A page of a thousand witty remarks.
The little icon told me it was loading,
Gathering the pages HTML coding.
I read the text on my screen and I frowned:
404: File Not Found All was not lost, I hit refresh and reload.
To no avail; twas a dead end road.
The link was broken and led to nowhere.
All I could do was say a quick prayer.
That hideous text was all around:
404: File Not Found It was worse than the BSOD,
Because browser and link wouldnt agree.
I checked my broadband connection,
I made a thorough inspection.
Was the PC trying to confound;
404: File Not Found
For some reason, we all seem to love wacky superheroics. In a break from Spidey's angst and adrenaline-fuelled battles with Doc Ock, superhero comedies are welcome. Why? It's probably that wonderful combination of supreme power and inane slapstick. Whatever the reason, when Pixar did it the result could only be hilarious. The Incredibles was hilarious. Hancock is trying to pull the same sort of trick in cinemas right now. Zoom came out in 2006 with a line-up destined for comedy. Tim Allen, Chevy Chase and also Courtney Cox. That last one is a kind of alarm. No Friends star ever furthers their career in a film, because any film they ...
