This Icon-Set won't be supported no more. It's a relic of old times ... ;)

:bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange:

Info:

Customize your deb-file with: "sudo human-o2" (Terminal/Konsole)

KDE-USERS and the deb-file:
"gnome-terminal" should be installed FIRST!!! (2-3 MB) for have all futures from the first Human-O2.deb-install ;)
sudo apt-get install gnome-terminal

:bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to Human-O2

Human-O2 is an Icon-Set based on Hydroxygen (Oxygen) -Icon-Set. The idea was born when I used the Hydroxygen-Theme on my Ubuntu-desktop, and I thought it would be really great if the Human-Theme would be so complete and wonderful. So I started to create a fusion between both ;)
To get an almost perfect Human-feeling I had to modify a lot icons. I also included some icons I draw in the last time, and some icons (free - non commercial) I found in the "world wide web".
A lot of icons in small sizes were corrected by myself OR for a closer Human-feeling modificated!

So I am glad to present you my result!
Feel the beauty side of Ubuntu - the Linux-distribution I use and like best ... enjoy :)

If you like it, don't forget ---> :+fav: ;)

:bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange: :bulletorange:

Installation-Instructions:

ALWAYS BEFORE:
PURGE OLD INSTALLED HUMANO2-ICONS (Version 1.09 and lower ...) FROM YOUR PACKAGE-MANAGER IF YOU HAD IT INSTALLED ... THAN "sudo rm -r /usr/share/icons/Human-O2" !!! Thank you :)

The regular "Human-O2.tar.gz" for all Linux-distributions can be downloaded here on DeviantArt ;)
The packages for your Package-Manger (automatic updates) you will find these here above ;)
The DEB-Version you can download it directly from here: [link] (Version 1.1.5.1)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Include Human-O2 into your Package-Manager:
(For ALL deb-based-Linux-distributions !!!) ;)

The packages from Ubuntu PPA are here: [link]

PGP-Key can be downloaded from here: [link]
[This Public-Key is a authorization-Key for your Package-Manager like Adept or Synaptic]

OR with your Terminal/Konsole:
gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu*com --recv-keys 53878C1F && gpg --export -a 53878C1F | sudo apt-key add -

!!!!!! Important !!!!!! * = . (point) ;)

Finally look for "human-o2-icons" ... :D
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is better with the Deb-Version:

- Icons are, in every moment, easy to change ...
Type "sudo human-o2" in your Terminal and follow the options-menu. Session Log-Out/Log-In or reboot recommended ;)

- Enjoy your Human-O2-Icons as root, too.

- All Users on your PC can select this Set by choosing it in the Theme-Appearance-Manager.

- Automatic updates with the Package-Version :D :D :D
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First: PURGE OLD INSTALLED HUMANO2-ICONS (Version 1.09 and lower ...) FROM YOUR PACKAGE-MANAGER IF YOU HAD IT INSTALLED ... THAN "sudo rm -r /usr/share/icons/Human-O2" !!! Thank you :)

Second: Download the deb-file 1.1.4 from my homepage. Install it and costumize it with "sudo human-o2 menu" in your Terminal or Konsole ;)

This should work 100% :D

I don't really care about the GPG error, you know it would be a nice feature to have a GUI configure in the system->;preferences->Human-O2 preferences :D

Yes I noticed :D I tried KDE 4.1 too but I am still very disappointed with it, the biggest draw off it is in improper rendering of some GTK+ widgets and strange desktop artifacts. :D

But it's very promising ;)
I'm using FF3 and Evolution on it, all gtk-applications installed without the gtk-recommends and with a nvidia-script for more performance ;) And I included "Human-O2" in the .gkt-kde4-file for have everywhere my Icons :)
It's much more modern and adjustable than gnome ... let's see how is gnome3 ;)
Cheers

Hmm it looks interesting, I bet you installed a fresh kubuntu or you did a kubuntu-desktop install with apt, if you did the install from a cd I would be really interested in the mods you made, ie.. nvidia-script :D

Fresh and from CD! As newbie I needed the whole day for adjust and understand. Dolphin is different and ugly as default, but very adjustable ;) Now it's better then nautilus. Debs are a problem for dolphin, already. Ark is unstable - so I'm using file-roller ;) But all in all very good, pretty and innovative. Check it out if you want, but take a day vacation ;) I warn you ... :D
I love it ...

the script for "autostart" before starting KDE:

#!/bin/bash

/usr/bin/nvidia-settings -a InitialPixmapPlacement=2 -a GlyphCache=1

i noticed another little thing. The volume icon is slightly different for each increment volume change--it moves around, the speaker thing doesn't stay in exactly the same place... it's a very hard detail to notice, but with compiz, the on screen display is magnified massively, and it becomes apparent.

yes it's true. narf41 told me that he is thinking that the volume-icon is to big for the panel. So I resized it with one pixel above and down shorter. So the error happened ;) I will correct it soon and if you want you can download it tomorrow. Thx for your feedback :)

I saw Rome and I liked it ... only the traffic oh oh oh ;)

This Set and yours are nearly perfect; nearly I don't have more ideas for improving ... maybe some more custom icons. That's all :)
I like the Elementary-Set much, too. It's a very polish and perfect Artist-Icon-Set. Linux has improved in the last year a lot of in the Icon-Thematic ;)

KDE4 developing and Oxygen Icons included as default, make KDE to be the best DE about iconset.
Ubuntu human or gnome tango can't compare to oxygen.
I hope to see something like that in gnome3. Let's wait :)

Human, Tango, (Elementary), Gnome ... is the old style and many peoples like it so ;) Oxygen is the new modern standard ... many peoples like it, many not. I saw some Icons in Oxygen they aren't polish and professional already. But I saw they are improving and improving step by step :) I am sure that Gnome 3 will have the new oxygen-look as default and the old for select ;)

you really made it even better! it was already my favorite theme too! I'm glad you fixed the navigation buttons, but most of all, I like the human folders! they look perfect! this is what the human theme should have looked like! I really don't have any suggestions other than maybe add more custom icons? I dont know...really, really nice work!

I must say... the theme looks very polished and professional. there's just a couple of things I don't like very much, like the rhythmbox icons... and some other things.
Good idea to provide an installer with options, though it's a bit difficult to know what you're actually choosing... since I could not find a picture with the icons I were choosing among.

"I must say... the theme looks very polished and professional."

Thanks. I am working now in polish it a little bit more ;)

"there's just a couple of things I don't like very much, like the rhythmbox icons... and some other things"

:) the ryhthmbox-Icon in change I like very much. I saw some possible Icons for it, but I thought they looks bad in small sizes or aren't good for identify in small sizes too. If you can show me one who could be perfectly so please let me a link :)
By the way, tell me which Icons you don't like so much too. Only for know it ;)

"Good idea to provide an installer with options, though it's a bit difficult to know what you're actually choosing... since I could not find a picture with the icons I were choosing among."

so I will make a Preview-Picture.
will come in the next version. ;)
