How to get MB3D work on Mac OS X 10.9.1 Mavericks

By Schmiegel
Mandelbulb 3D on Mavericks:

There is an existing wrapper for Mac available that doesn't work well on Mavericks: by Fractal Forums user slock (…)

Seems you can get a working wrapper simply by downloading Wineskin 1.7.10 and recreating straight forward a new empty wrapper.
• Save it to the desktop and open the package.
• Move your existing MB3D app into drive_c/Programme and launch the that's inside the package
• Configure the advanced settings as shown (just enter the correct path).
Test Run should run fine now but the Wrapper will fail when launched directly with a 10811 error or similar.
This error will not return after you reboot the Mac.

Note it probably doesn't matter to set the path to "Programme" - did that just as a precaution to avoid the space character in the path, which sometimes can cause troubles when code doesn't escape spaces correctly. Default is "Program Files". Just make sure the actual path and the Wineskin configuration matches. If you change the path name you'll break your ini file.
