Woo! Purple socks!
WOW! teach me!
Teach you what? I just draw what I see in my head, people ask for tutorials but I don't have a set method, mostly I just draw it in full from the beginning, can't be doing with all that shapes nonsense and stuff which works as tutorials...my tutorial would be like here is the pencil, now I draw over it and add scales in pen and then I colour it.
lol, I try to draw what's in my head but my hands seem to be tied in another reality, a naff one lol
I've got a photographic memory and they way my art works is I need a reference, for things such as dragons the image in my head is most often enough to create a picture but for people I need additional references like photos. Thats why it all comes at once, I'm really just eyeballing an image already sitting in my head not sketching something new, I think I do all the concept work most artists do before I get round to picking up pencil and paper, sometimes sit there all day with a dragon in my head trying on different types of spines and wings before I get to paper stage. Then again other times I get random dragon suddenly and its drawn immediately such as eek with his mouse. The only times dragons don't work is when I spend all day sketching on paper and erasing it again like Boring dragon or the unfinished stuff that is years old and never scanned.
the socks look good on her
oh I so want those socks!
