The Mapuche resisted Incan excursions to their land, but it time it was harder and harder, them lacking the numbers or the military expertise of the Inca, and refused to leave their land.
In this context our story unfolds, an Incan princess is trying to sleep, lately it have been hard for her to sleep, because of a recurring dream, filled with love and wonderful experiences, but also a lot of grief. She is in jail meeting a prisoner from a distant land, they both feel, live the most wondrous love and swear loyalty to each other, but the dream ends abruptly, in grief, as there is death in the dream also.
She had this same dream for a while now, until one day the Inca warlord returned from war against the Mapuche, and he brought with him bounty in the form of riches and some Mapuche people to be sacrificed to h
