My Bio
After 2 years of having a deviantart account, I have finally decided that I could do something a little more productive in my time allocated for slacking off on the computer. So I've recently started putting up some pictures I have in my PC.
Hope you like them [despite the old camera, I try to keep the quality as little crappy as possible] and I encourage comments, criticisms and tomatoes - just to see how good I am with this photography thing.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I am a 22 year old specimen from Suceava, Bukovina, Romania. Currently I live in Bucharest for studying. I can say that I like reading all sorts of books, I enjoy traveling/suffer from wanderlust as long as I have time and money and sometimes sketch and paint [though I'm quite a lazy and rather unproductive person in this aspect].

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Things I like:
~ metal. It is just the most awesome and powerful genre of music ever. I like a lot of bands starting with old heavy metal to viking/folk to black metal. However I'm picky about my music
~ cats and animals in general. But I think felines are the best. Meow!
~ people that have some ethical principles which they believe in
~ concerts - I try to go to as many as possible. I also like to keep the tickets and bracelets in a scrapbook. :D
~ traveling
~ the Carpathian mountains
~ medieval fairs and old ruins
~ leather pants and skirts - currently owning 4
~ long healthy hair. Need I say more?

Things I dislike:
~ arrogant people that don't have a reason to be arrogant, people that spend daddy's money, people that lie or steal and generally nasty things that some people might do...
~ pollution and people that simply don't give a f**k about the environment
~ animal abuse
~ politics - more like 'the way things are', doesn't mean I would not discuss it
~ getting my skin tanned
~ waking up early and not for a pleasant purpose
~ exams and having to study when I'm totally not in the mood for it
~ bad quality in products especially in the ones you wear or apply on your skin
~ cinnamon and stuff that smells like cinnamon - it only belongs in apple pie or boiled wine
~ corporations that would compromise even human life or health for money

Acting on my curiosity to see what it's like in Serbia (since the train from Bucharest is quite affordable, if not downright cheap), I went to visit Belgrad last weekend on the 1st December vacation. I was really pleasantly surprised by the city, especially the Kalemegdan fortress/park.I really recommend people to see it, if possible, the trains are the most awful things you'll see - even by Romanian standards, but the city was way over my expectations - this is why I have made a ton of photos, out of which I've tried to choose the nicest ones for my deviantart account. Most of them are done at the Belgrade zoo, which has a lot of cute ani...

I have taken a lot of photos from the Carpathian mountains lately, due to a few short trips, especially in the Prahova valley. So far, the best of them turned out to be the ones in Sinaia, so I hope you like them.  I really tried to work a little with the light, so that the shots look really good when expanded :DAnyway, the highlight must be the Peles Castle, since it has an impressive architecture, lots of statues and a fairytale-like athmosphere about it. That makes it really photogenic and it was a pleasure trying to capture its beauty.Hope you like them!

I'll be posting some pictures of the bands I've seen this year - they are a lot and I have to choose the most clear and least crappy ones. 2010 is really a good year for rock and metal in Romania, also I've become more emancipated and started going to festivals in other countries, so I'm glad cause there are a lot of bands I've wanted to see live. All in all, keep it metal ! m/
