To be honest ravens are more like meal contenders for Hyleren in many instances. When she's living among wild wolves she adopts their diet and fully embraces hunting with them and eating raw meat. But her ability to communicate with ravens as a druid usually avoids unnecessary eye gouging or some particularly annoying raven ending up on a roasting skewer. (Their raw meat is definitely not as tasty as a reindeer's or rabbit's when eaten raw.)
