SRPF: KONY

Description

Ooh, this was fun for a done-in-less-than-a-day drawing!

I've been wanting to do another Self-Righteous Prick Fairy drawing for a long time. Too many distractions came about and I missed a few opportunities, but luckily, these new Kony Assholes gave me the perfect opening (there's a joke there, but I'm not gonna touch it...unlike ANOTHER joke I can think of, heh heh!).

Come to think of it, it's almost the first anniversary of my original SRPF drawing!

Has it really been a whole year already? My, how time flies!

So to all those Self-Righteous Pricks out there: Kiss my entire Ass!

Side note: this is the 3rd drawing in a row I've done involving some kind of horrible freak in a pink shirt. Weird.

I have literally never heard of Kony until now. And now that I know it, I must say... I'm kinda irritated. With situations like this, no amount of "pass the word along" will change it. What is it exactly he's trying to convey by doing seminars in $200 distressed jeans, and $50 jungle scarfs sporting Ray Bans? That whatever we donate is going to help him look better while pretending to care about an army of abused children whose combined wardrobes and meals a day cost less than his trip to the hair dresser?
PAH-LEESE :blahblah:

Y'know it's bad enough to know of self-righteous prick fairies, it's another thing entirely to be related to one...
All I can say on that not is: if only they really knew.
If just one of them was willing to die to make a difference it would make headlines, but if a small army felt the same it would make history. Incidentally, that's how all great changes were made, good and bad.

Unfortunately people these days, including myself, aren't particularly passionate about making profound changes. Just getting by and hopefully leaving a mark. I think the fear of futility is what's really keeping everyone indifferent; their hopes aren't shattered and all that... people really do tear you a new one when you fail
Oh well.
