What is your source of inspiration? It has always amazed me, how objects and structures like those, looks like they could exist in real life and be fully functional. Is this hard to learn?
Since these were part of a tile-able set we had to think of everything in a plug and play kinda way sorta like building a computer - with the main goal of these being cover objects both the player and enemies could hide behind while fighting. Being the Corpus I imaged them mostly being storage units, computer consoles and devices which would serve the purpose of the facility like heaters, pillars, charge stations or even just shapes to breakup the potential repetition that comes with a tiling set.
