Revealed during my art talk at TennoCon2018 - part of the Corpus architecture Redesign for the buildings on the surface of Venus.
That looks pretty awesome. Definitely could see that as part of an animated film.
Why did you decide on boxy for the Corpus?
Even their helmets are boxy.
I'm just curious.
I spoke about this a bit in my talk - that it was at the encouragement of a returning employee that we pursued a direction based off of an old computer console design I did years ago and build a larger style around it. They and some other environment team artists felt it best tied back to the design of the (original) characters which were quite boxy.
