Solstice Eclipse 2010 Chart

My first image set from the 2010 Solstice Total Lunar Eclipse. The first few pictures started out under light clouds, and as the eclipse progressed, the sky became clearer. These were all shot at 1/1600, F5.6, using A Canon Rebel XS and telephoto lens. Some sharpening and Bridge Camera Raw used to bring out the photos better. Each photo was taken at a slightly different angle and focus, so sizes are a bit off. These were multiple photos placed into one image for size comparison.

Please ask permission before using. I plan to have more images from this event soon.

I have actually been trying to create something like this. I took about 16 pictures of the lunar eclipse but haven't found a way to collectively display them like this. Great work on the collage.

Thank you. :-)

I used layers and masking techniques in Photoshop CS4 to put this collage together. :-)

Ah, yes layers. I have yet to figure out what I am doing with them.

Try looking up a few tutorials regarding layers and masking. Once you get the hang of them, they're fairly easy to use, and the possibilities are endless. :-)
