Part 2 of my pseudo-style challenge. Am I allowed to call it that??


At the insistence of a friend, I referenced a platelet from Cells at Work! Which, if you haven't watched it, please do. It helped me get through the snippet of immunology that I've had so far, and the characters are amazing.

The reference I used was technically the official art of a platelet, not from the actual anime, and I'm okay with that.

What I liked about this style was the shading and highlights. They utilize soft and cell shading, which I appreciate. It took me a hot second to figure out how to color the eyes in their style, but I think it looks okay. Like before, I'm really not a fan of the super thin lines, but I used a smaller canvas and smaller brush size instead of using the pen / path tool this time, so it wasn't as eye twitching.

I still can't hands, but we'll worry about that at a later date. (((: I changed the angle of the light source because...I can. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out!
