The Difference by SavvyRed, literature

The Difference

Sometimes I think of the right paths I never took,The avenues I chose to overlook,But I should sincerely have no regretBecause there are places waiting for my step,And all the places that my feet have foundStill remember me walking their ground. So when I look back, I will not sigh,Mourning the roads that I have not traveled by . . .. . . because I know my life has made a difference,Because I know that you , your life has made a difference.

Demisexuality in Solitaire of Love

My minor in college was Spanish, and this was my final paper. It's about a demisexual perspective in the novel Solitario de amor (Soltaire of Love) by Cristina Peri Rossi. I originally wrote this in Spanish, but I have created this English translation. I am Chinese in descent and live in the United States, English is my first language. I can speak and write in Spanish fluently, but I am not as well as a Native speaker. I apologize if there are grammatical, spelling, or any other errors. Although this is a formal essay, I am not a professor or an author and this text is not professional or an official academic sources. YOU ARE NOT AL...

Pikachu's Dream

It was a normal day in Azalea Town. Ash and his Pokémon had come to train, and now it was time for them to rest. While the other Pokémon went into their Pokeballs, Pikachu had fallen asleep already, and Ash couldn’t resist letting him take a much-needed nap. As he slept, Pikachu snored and moved his arms around a bit. Aww, I wonder what he’s dreaming about , thought Ash as he stared at his cute little buddy. “Well, it’s a great day in Pikatown for a battle tournament !” commented the announcer. “We have some top-notch contenders here, and they’re all the best of the best!” The crowd cheered. It was...

Back! :)

Jan 10, 2023

Hey! I know I haven't been here in ages, but I'm back! I can't promise that I'll be here all the time forever, but I'm here now. I'm trying to get to used to deviantART again, especially since it's changed a lot since the last time I was here. I missed this community, and I really hope to connect with people again. I'm trying to become active in my groups, but it is hard because there is so much work to do! Speaking of groups, I just created a group called Love of All Genders! My previous group Love Sees No Gender got hacked really badly, and I am sorry that many of you had to put up with all the disgusting content that whoever hacked it put in it. Anyway, I'm glad to be here! Peace and hugs!:highfive: - S.
