I'm here to write, and I don't write only fantasy with fantastic dragon wolves and my own species. Well, I mean, you're going to see a lot of those. But I'm here to add a realism, a truth from the fantasy.

My writing will not let you be comfortable. If you're not unnerved or feel uncomfortable, I'm not doing my job right. I want to cause self reflection and major thought onto many topics. I tell the world how it actually is, not this world we want. There is no karma to save the day. My characters can cheat, and then show that they could have won without cheating, they simply wanted to cheat that point. Sometimes your favorite characters will get victimized and brutalized. I want you to feel visceral hatred. And massive amounts of love. Because, at the end of the day, it's about the true beauty of the world. Escaping these delusions that somebody will make it all right in the end. No, nobody is here to save these characters, they are here to save themselves. They want to make the world a better place than how they found it. That's what Swillow will do.
