I can't make it pretty since my core's up now, sorry.  :'D
Anywho!

Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm going to be working on more of those Nebula Eaters soon, but I really need to think of a good price for them.  Like, I'm not going to have them up for anything less than $10, maybe no less than $15 (with the option to pay in points, as well), but I don't know how high to price them.  My partner suggested to me that I should price them really high since that apparently draws more people in.  Like, they see something expensive, think that means it's high-quality or exclusive or something, and they are more willing to throw more money down on it as weird as that sounds--he even went so far as to suggest pricing them at $100 a pop.  I'm just nervous that will force more people to stay away from my art and adoptables than before.  I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this.

I'd also really like you guys to look at my baby, Veil, and throw up figures for about how much you'd imagine it would run for, or how much you'd pay for an adoptable like it.
Veil - Nebula Eater (NEW CLOSED SPECIES!) by SavannaEGoth

Thanks again for a good year, guys.  Amid all my various hiatusies and life drama, it was nice to return to a friendly community and loyal viewer base!  Gonna be working to get a job and make art money on the side.  Hopefully next year I'll be more active and artsy, and can start making good money again.  This is all stressing me out something fierce.  O~O

Lastly, I'll leave you all with some tunage.  Have a great New Year, everybody~

- With love, Essy

sorry this is a late comment, but ! Happy new year! This design is so gorgeous btw! I miss ur art hahah.

I think for a start, $50 would be good, especially since the customer will also be receiving that art. If you decide it should be a lower price though, I'd say $30 is the minimum. It wouldn't be fair otherwise, you clearly paid a lot of attention to the details.

I would also say that, depending on the complexity of the adopt, you could price them around 50-70.

As for customs, if you ever plan on making any? You should price $70-$100 for customs depending on the amount of detail. $150 could be your maximum.

This could be a cheap option but, if a lot of people want one but can't afford it, you can also try selling little bite versions of your adopts. Like simple chibi-type adopts? And toss 'em in for 10-20 bucks.

Hope this helps : 3 c

Ahhhhh thank you so much!  Haha, I kind of missed drawing.  I regret being gone so much and doing nothing thanks to personal issues, but when I get my act together it's nice to see what I can achieve.

I really, really appreciate the pricind advice.  That's been a big part of why I haven't uploaded any more just yet.  I'm scared to get ripped off or have no one show interest in them.  I hadn't even thought to do customs with these, but I suppose that makes sense since people might have nebulas they'd like adopts of. . .

Shoot, the chibi idea is awesome, too.  Lil chibi-nebs, heck.  I was planning on eventually releasing a smaller variation, and maybe even pygmy ones, but that's a ways off.

It does!! :'D

Wow! Those Nebula eaters look pretty cool. This is coming from someone who is not an artist in the slightest, but judging from how much effort seems to be put into an adoptable like this, I would happily pay 50-60 dollars for something like this. I don't think I'd go so far as 100 though because very few people will be willing to spend that much on art. I would say maybe price them for 30 dollars at the VERY minimum and charge 70 dollars at the very highest. In my opinion, a middle ground of 50-60 dollars is probably the best option! Enough money for all the effort involved in making one, but not SO much that people are driven away and won't buy it. But that's just my two cents. I hope these cute guys sell well! :

Thanks!  That's really helpful to hear.  Haha, here I was being all nervous and thinking I'd only price them at $30 - $45 max.  OTL
I appreciate your input and support very much!  :'D
