a full tiki body formed from manaia(spiritual protector) carved from beef bone with new zealand abalone shell inlays for the manaia eyes and new zealand pounamu (jade)for the eyes of both tiki

kia ora,thanks,used a mix of tools on this one,a dremel was used to for the rough out and to drill the holes in all the cut-outs,the rest was done with a jewellers saw,needle files and gravers and plenty of patience

How long did this take you?
couldnt say exactly,but this one and the double Manaia were both carved together over 8 months, as a wedding gift,being only a hobby carver that was an hr here and a hr there,when i had spare time up my sleeve.i think if i sat down and gave it a some effort,i could probably do it over 3-4 full days
