Bone Toki by savagewerx Bone Toki by savagewerx
a beef bone Maori Toki (traditionally the head of a carving tool used for dugout canoes etc, also worn as a pendant)this one was carved as a commissioned piece for a young Maori autistic boy,the autism symbol (puzzle piece) is New Zealand Jade, inlayed into the tail of a koru styled fish,a symbol of himself swimming up-stream battling the current, the reverse side is once again a koru pattern, representing  whanau (family) and worn next to his heart

That's really something, the boy and his family must be thrilled.
