In the early 1990's as the mining industry began to subside in Weardale the hapless workers broke into a long forgotten chamber. There, amidst the blackness and coal a shapeless creature began to take form. Startled by the helmet lights it quickly took on the familiar shape of Homo sapiens and lurched out from the chamber, keen to seize its accidental freedom. The creature born of pure mediocrity does little to sully the world around it but doesn't really advance it forwards either. It stands as a beacon of the mundane and with a pencil in hand continues it's meaningless scribbles to this day...
The creature is near, and a faint smell of chlorine fills the air...
