The Best Theme for Ubuntu 14.04!

Even better than the official default theme Ambiance which has a number of imperfections that you cannot find in Greybird!

I also look forward to seeing a Dark variant in the near future (replacing only all silver grey bgcolors with a very dark grey -similar to Ambiance- and black fgcolors with white) which can be a direct replacement for Ambiance ;-)

Is there a way to make the Unity panel black, with white foreground text, just like in xfce?

It's black in the latest version. Use the version from the repos.

Aware of the issue. Probably we need to change the panel color on Unity.

Hello Satya!,you are amazing doing this stuff and I liked greybird  and numix so much, now I'm on greybird, the only "issue" that I can tell is when I'm clicking on topbar icons (white in transparent dark background) they still white, but the clock and global menu turns black like it'd must (I think)... So, do this have any fix or something I could do?

PD: Sorry if my english is kinda "monkeyish"

Regards!

Hi satya,

I really like this gtk theme but I have a problem with some apps, buttons are cut !? Here's a screenshot about the problem : pix.toile-libre.org/?img=13821…
I also have the same problem with Numix and Orion...

I use Arch with xfce and murrine/unico engines are installed. Could you please help me to fix that ?

Thanks

I have the same problem with all themes except "Adwaita".
In fact, all my gtk-2 apps work fine, I have this issue only with gtk-3.10 apps.
I use your theme for a long time and it's the first time I see this "bug", I have this problem since some of my applications have been updated to gtk 3.10

Always making great and beautiful themes! I have a question though, as seeing that this theme in particular is optimized for xfce. I recently downloaded some themes to customize my Xubuntu 13.04 install (I'm a fan of flat-looking themes and minimalist desktops) and I notice most of them have problems either with the pulse audio menu or the xfce panel sound menu. For example, in this theme ([link] everything shows fine except for a generic looking slider on the xfce panel sound menu which looks out of place with the rest of the theme, unlike in Greybird where the looks are consistent along all sliders. Is there a way to fix the slider in the sound menu? Thanks and keep the great job!

I've attempted to make a mozilla theme (for LibreOffice, Firefox, etc.) to complement Greybird, which is one of my favorites.
It's here: [link]
